I found this place by accident, was just driving down Staples and turned at CVS and saw it. It looked like it would be fun to eat at.
The man who greets you as you walk in is a pleasant surprise. The place wasn't packed but still over hall full. I sat over by the fireplace, it was a windy day, and ordered the Iced Tea.
I asked the waitress about the Pablano soup and she brought me a little taste of it. It was delicious and I ordered a bowl. I asked about the Tuna Sandwich and she brought me out a taste of it as well. It tasted homemade. I added the pimento cheese to my tuna, which added 3 to my 7 dollar sandwich, but I am worth it and it was delicious.
They must grill the bread because it was delicious too. I am not a big fan of chips or anything deep fried, but I did taste them and for those who do eat them, they were tasty.
I loved the pickles; alas they only gave me a couple. It was a very pleasant experience and I will return again on my next trip. I wish I had found it the first day I was in town.
If you like sandwich then try this place.
