For the past 15 years our family has gone to a conference in Corpus Christi every summer. We always look forward to dinner at Pier 99. Three big teenage boys and three adults - we ordered the family feast for 4 - a big platter of fried fish, fried shrimp, fried oysters, hush puppies, and french-fries, and three teenage boys mowed down two huge platters of food and loved it all. We also ordered the boiled feast for 2 - a big platter of boiled seafood - we all loved it! Of everything we have ordered over the years, those are the only two dishes we have really loved. The outside of the restaurant looks like an old fishing shack. The inside looks like an old fishing shack. The service suffers when the restaurant is packed, so we try to get there at 5:30 for dinner. We always sit inside because it is away from the bar.
