i booked this hotel online without reading any reviews and what not, i just went for the price because it was the best out there. i arrived at the hotel checked in only to find out there was no crib in the room like a requested and no refrigerator, to get one is to pay $10.00 a day which to me was unhead off i would have paid extra on the room rate but to know i'm paying that just for a refrigerator (something that usually comes with the room in every other hotel i've stayed in is crazy) irritates me. the bed was made all the days we stayed there but i cant say the same for the cleaniness since my trash wasn't taken out a couple of times and i will find my wife's hair on the floor from ealier in the morning before we left for site seeing. good location, good restuarant but the staff need to pay more attension to the rooms and the things in them that makes customers comfortable and ensure they are properly taken care off. it's the only way they will get returnees.

i arrived at 3am and they told me that they do not take cash and then i mentioned to the guy that i needed a fridge and microwave. (traveling with 2 kids and they drink milk) I went to room and there wasnt any. then the tv wasnt plugged like it had just been put in there. there was also no coffee in room. The hasp on the door was broken. In the morning the bathtub got clogged and when i went to call the front desk the phone was not working. I go to the front desk and they say that there are no more fridges and that there are lots of people in front of me waiting for a fridge and i tell her about the tub and says she will let her maintence guy no as soon as he finishes talking (he was joking around with a group of friends) 45 min later he comes and we had already fixed the tub then the hair dryer did not work. I work in a hotel and if i would treat ppl the way that i wasd treated i would be fired and the guest would be reimbured. worst expierence ever

As nice and polite as the staff was, i can not justify the $199.99 a night price tag on this hotel.
I have stayed at econo-lodge hotels that had better rooms. All the Suites are located right next to the elevator shafts, so you are hearing noises all night. I booked the room so my daughter and grandson could come visit and go swimming, but guess what? This hotel recently joined the Choice Hotel chain and is going through some upgrades. There were some minor inconveniences during these upgrades, but they were all well taken care of by a staff that is super gracious, smiling, a used my name a lot.

For the business traveler you are only one block from the Beltway and 30 minutes to DCA airport. Restaurant/bar on site and several fast food and nice restaurants nearby.
