“Beautiful Harbor but too far away from DC”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

This is a beautiful harbor area with upscale shops and nice hotels and good restaurants. The only problem is that you are too far removed from DC.

“Huge Hotel Gaylord.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

Who wouldn't like splash fountains, great bars and food. beautiful vistas of the Potomac River and plenty of benches to relax on. I liked viewing the Woodrow Wilson Bridge from the MD side and all lit up at night. So pretty.

“Interesting but expensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

Other than walking the harbor and a little shopping there is not much to do other than eat. The restraints are always jammed on the weekends with long waits. The prices are high. There are no bargains here. All parking is fee based. They will ticket you at the metered parking if you are a minute over and they have lots of parking enforcement

“Love this place with family or the Wife & I”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

First of all please don't put a Casino here :(, don't ruin the experience. Great place to visit, getaway for the day, with family or with your partner. Great for a great meal choice, or just a cool place to walk around and have great desert choices....Boating, ferry's to Alexandria and DC....also summer fun rides.....you can also find fun things to do and see at the Gaylord Hotel....not feeling the proposed Casino, they haven't done much for the communities in Atlantic City....just this guys opinion......

“Very pretty place and fun to walk around”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

Ok, so it might be more expensive to dine at National Harbor than other places, but let's face it, the view is awesome and the area is really pretty to stroll around and buy things you don't need. I like it because it's different, it's by the water, and it's got great atmosphere.
