“Cool place, bad service!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2013

I was very interested in seeing this place, it's on the first floor of one of the nicest hotels on the east coast. There's big screens and (some) sports memorabilia decorating the place and when we went there (the night before Thanksgiving), the place was half-full. Now there seemed to be plenty of wait-staff but I'm never a good judge of that and we got a table that was eventually visited buy a very nice lady who took our order without writing it down. Now first off, i don't get when they do that? Are we supposed to be impressed into a bigger tip? I've seen more orders messed up that way than not! But again, this isn't my business so i guess i just don't get it.
The thing that got me initially frustrated was when waitress (who initially needed the manager to get to visit our table) walked to another table and took their order, which had to take 10 minutes to complete. They were slow and indecisive so it seemed MUCH longer ( AND the waitress WROTE down their order!!)!
BUT that wasn't the bad part.. the frustration came when their food came to them much sooner that ours.
So the bottom line is it was an ok place at best and if you have kids at the Hotel you're stuck eating there, but the service was below average and the selections were slimmer than my neighborhood bar with a microwave.

“Casual Dinning”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

The staff was friendly and prompt and the food was good. Large Televisions all around. Great for sports lovers. Wide open seating, not the place for intimate dinning..

“Better than average hotel sports bar”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2013

Good TV screens, good atmosphere, better than average food for sure. Our drink were generously poured. All in all, for a hotel bar, this is a thumbs-up.

“The Place was Hummin'!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

My friend and I swung by there for light dinner. Landed up ordering burgers and fries. Lots of choices, including Blue Cheese, sweet potato fries, onion rings etc. The IPA beer was chilled and perfect. It was Saturday night and the college football games were on.

The service was exceptional: fresh jalapenos? No problem. Steak sauce? Sure. Extra napkins: Right here. Besides that, our waitress made delightful conversation without being flirty.

On Sunday night, it was Redskins and Cowboys and the place was PACKED and noisy! We - as 49ers fans - stayed away!

“Why not.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

It's a pretty cool spot for sports fan. Fairly typical sports bar for this type of hotel. Obviously overpriced but it is what it is. I kept coming back for the hot wings. There is plenty of space with TV screens all over the place . Service was always good. Would definetly go back.
