“Nice hotel and very central.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2014

I stayed here for business for one night.

Good hotel with amenities you would expect. Friendly staff and a great restaurant for meat.

No Executive Lounge which was a shame but got a free breakfast.

I would stay again if ever in Salt Lake.

I attended a cookie convention & show along with more than 400 other attendees for about 4 days. My stay at the hotel was a great experience. Loved the cleanness of the rooms, lobby and conference rooms. The staff was extremely helpful and resourceful.

This Hilton is centrally located and within walking distance from a number of dining options. We opted for the 'weekend getaway' package, which gave us a break on wifi and the breakfast buffet for two. I highly recommend the breakfast – great service from all of the wait staff and the captain of the omelette station!

Nice hotel with a really nice central city location close to business and nightlife. However, I was dismayed at the lack of an FREE airport shuttle (I had to call twice to actually get the ride) and FREE Wifi. For the price (nearly $200) it is unsatisfactory for these amenities to not be included. I do not think I will be staying at any other Hilton properties in the near future.

Dear DanielS2004,
Thank you for your review and your post. I understand the value that many hotels provide for their guests with free WiFi, and complimentary airport transportation. As you know we do not provide these complimentary amenities at our location on downtown Salt Lake City. We do offer a transportation service through a third party operator who is located on our property and is typically 30% less than the cost of a taxi cab. Yes we do charge for WiFi, however we offer complimentary WiFi in the 2 business centers we have as well as through the Starbuck lounge and lobby area of the hotel. We also offer 2 tier pricing for WiFi, at $4 and $10 levels based on cusotmer needs.
Thank you again for your visit. If our hotel does not fit your travel budget needs I would recommend other Hilton Brands like Hampton Inns that offer complimentary WiFi services. There are a few in the Salt Lake area with excellent service and high quality guest rooms.

My wife and I stayed here one weekend in December - the hotel is perfectly located for a city visit. We left our car in the underground parking - Temple Square is only a short stroll away and everything that we wanted to see/visit was reachable by foot or tram - which was ideal because a snow storm hit and walking/tramming was preferable to driving. The hotel is updated and we found all the facilities to be standard Hilton quality and reasonably priced.

The rooms were modern and very clean. Breakfast was outstanding with many items to choose from including healthy alternatives. They make fantastic muffins fresh daily. They have a Starbucks on site for a quick cup of coffee with a good food selection. The hotel is within walking distance of the convention center and many restaurants and bars. Although taxis are available, they also had a private car available. Would definitely stay there again.

I stayed here for a ski trip and it was nice to be in the city where I could walk to restaurants and do some sight seeing. The bus stop for Alta/Snowbird is just a block away (if that!) and was convenient since the stop is early in the route, so it wasn't crowded yet. Just took a little longer to get there. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want a mix of access to the mountain and access to the city.
