“Good Location, Nice hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2013

The restaurant was a little pricy for my taste, but there is so much to do within walking distance that not being tied to the hotel bar was OK. The Valle service was slow and contacting the valet from your room left something to be desired. The room service was good and it was refreshing to not find a note under my door about leaving the do not disturb sign on the door! I absolutely HATE those notes! If I wanted my room cleaned, I would remove the hanger from the door. I am fairly self sufficient and there is usually three days worth of towels and stuff in the bathroom that I can go one day without having my room cleaned. Thanks for mot belittling me with a note...

I traveled to Salt Lake City for a conference at the convention center and choose the Hilton for my stay. The guest rooms were clean and well kept. Housekeeping was friendly and spoke to me in the hallway. I would certainly stay at this hotel again if traveling again in the area.

Stayed here for a week on business. This is a very popular spot for onferences so expect lots of buses and traffic in lobby. Was pleasantly surprised by the huge size of the rooms and quietness of the hotel. Service and amenities are typical Hilton. Was disappointed with the gym which was quite small ( few treadmills) compared to the size of the hotel. The had added a few extra machines in the pool area but who wants to run in a humid chlorine filled room?

Dear Avid_Travelerz,
Thank you for the review. We are expanding our fitness center as part of a capital improvement project in early 2014. We will be adding another 1000 square feet of space and re designing the fitness space so we can move all equipment off the pool deck area.
We hope you will return in 2014 and enjoy the expanded fitness space.

Sincerely,

Jeff Protzman

My wife and I stayed there because it was the HQ hotel for a meeting of a group I belong to. It is a typical city center hotel: priced for expense account guests, adequate food at high prices, etc.

One complaint is that there is only free internet in the lobby. Probably relates to the fact that most guests are on expense account

The hotel was centrally located and well-suited for the national meetings of the Boy Scouts of America executive board and commitee meetings. Overall, my experience was excellent and the hotel facilities and staff were first rate.

Very nicely run hotel. Clean rooms, clean public bathrooms. Very attentive, friendly, and helpful staff. Used in-room dining and the grilled chicken sandwich was good but soggy fries. Delivered by a very personable and polite staff person.

I enjoyed the room, it was quiet, clean, and had nice commodities. However, the only thing I could ask for, is a dock or adapter for iPhone 5s. Even though there was an iHome dock, I could not use it, nor could I charge my phone, as I had accidentally forgotten my charger.
