“Excellent with one exception”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Great option for lodging close to the airport---the staff was friendly, helpful and informative. The room was comfortable, clean and plenty of space. The bathroom was a good design with a sink and mirror outside of the shower/toilet area. The one exception that kept me from giving this a rating of five---they did not give us a wake-up call after we scheduled it at the front desk and then confirmed by phone from the room.

Room Tip: Don't depend on a wake-up call---I did not receive one that was scheduled.

Wow the room was huge! I was surprised the rooms were so nice and clean the hallways a bit dark, and the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling, but it was clean. The continental breakfast was top notch. I loved the scrambled eggs with spinach and cheese. I travel alot and would visit here again.

We held a retreat at The Comfort Inn Airport and the experience was wonderful. Camilla worked with us to meet all the needs of our group. Alberto prepared wonderful menus of DELICIOUS food and the service he and his staff provided was gracious and elegant. The custodial staff were extremely helpful in helping us set up our meeting room just the way we needed it and the women who worked at the front desk - Rossalynn and Jessica(?) - we're extremely helpful, immediately helping with every big or little need or request we made during the weekend and making check-out quick and easy! I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a group meeting and I plan to return again!

Stayed here for 4 nights and they are really welcoming. Camila and B riza and Richard their shuttle driver are all very nice. Really good complimentary breakfast and evening snacks and cocktails too.

My bed was super comfortable too!

I work for the railroad and last minute change of plans are a usual thing for us, but not finding a hotel can really drag your day down when you're traveling. Rosalynn did an amazing job of not only helping us get into a room at the last moment but really made the experience amazing. She was friendly and quick to answer any questions that we had. If it wasn't for her we would have probably slept in our truck. Its not every day that someone goes out of their way at their job to make people feel comfortable and welcome, but I would return here any day just because of that stay.

Room Tip: Late arrivals are definitely welcome here.

My impression of Comfort Inn was merely something better than the Motel 6. This one is different, very much different.

The down side is the location, it is located within a cluster of hotels near the airport. There is a subway store somewhere and nothing else in sight. Remote and isolated.

Once you step into the hotel, you will notice the significant difference. The lobby is huge with ample space for a large group to come in.

They have a formal dining area which is different than those who offer continental breakfast only. The night we came in they served prime ribs on their menu. The dining room furniture and paintings are tastefully decorated. The table tops are either stone or stone look alike materials, not plastic or wooden.

Across from the breakfast area is a huge lounge, also beautifully decorated with comfortable formal furniture. This is the place for people to social and mingle. They also have some outdoor tables with a fire-pit in the center. Coffee/tea, fireplace and large TV are available. The complimentary coffee is quite good, no burning or bitter taste. I normally have one cup a day. I had 2 that evening.

They got a heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi that I never had time to use.

The room size is decent for 2 queen size beds, easy accessible power outlets for batteries recharged. The bathroom is also spacious and in good conditions. All the basics are there.

Morning breakfast is wonderful. They have hot entrees: hash browns, ham and scrabble eggs. Scrabble eggs have 2 options: plain or with pepper & onions. The rest are pretty standard, cereals, oatmeal, bagels, yogurts, boil eggs etc.

One draw back that I could recall. The guy who previously used the computer had it shut down completely. And the computer was placed in a cabinet with a lock. I asked the front desk person to open it up so it could be rebooted, she kept forgetting this request and it took me waiting for half an hour sitting in the lounge.

After all, this is a great Comfort Inn, top of the line on this chain.
