We spent one night in the Armstrong Mansion to celebrate our anniversary. We were in the February room. The room is large. It is on the top floor in the southeast corner of the mansion. This room has a king bed. The large jacuzzi tub is up a spiral staircase inside the turret. It is the highest point in the mansion and provides an awesome view of the valley!

The mansion was built in 1893 and has a lot of charm. They have added an elevator so you don't have to run the stairs if you don't want to.

A few minor complaints... cheap toilet paper, small TV, old windows that let in a lot of noise and cold air.

A few compliments... friendly innkeeper, romance package, king bed, large tub, good breakfast.

Room Tip: February room is great!

We loved the room, the bed was comfy, the bathtub was awesome. Top all of that off with a great buffet breakfast. It was just a nice weekend overall.

Room Tip: Get one of the rooms with a King Size Bed. It was so nice.

Everything was perfect! The romance package added just the right touch, the room was spacious and warm, and we plan to go back in the near future.....

Room Tip: May Splendor has plenty of room - other rooms looked smaller.

Ovetall a great stay. The room layout was the best part with a giant jetted tub up in a tower above the room it was so romantic. only complaints were the cheap toilet paper and that the bed frame was too close to the wall so it made a lot of noise lol.

We originally visited Armstrong Mansion last year and wanted to come back. We stayed in the same room, September Woods, which has a huge bed and even bigger jetted tub.
This visit wasn't quite as good as the last. The bed has begun to sag in the middle so it is a bit uncomfortable. The tv seemed smaller than I remember and since the room is very large it is difficult to see from across the room. Time to upgrade.
We went to breakfast at 9am (starts at 7am and goes until 10am) and the hot things were getting cold and they were out of muffins. Plan on eating a bit earlier than we did.
