“Unexpected”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

Ate here with friends this past Tuesday and was really pleased that well prepared Indian food is available close to downtown. While the ambiance is not fantastic, the wait staff are helpful, friendly and made good suggestions. The food was flavorful, nicely prepared and the meats used were of high quality....very little fat or dishes swimming in orange oil. I highly recommend the place.

“Friendly, inexpensive, delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

My wife and I really enjoy this place. One can always get a table in the cavernous dining area. Service is polite and knowledgible. The food is very good for the price, with both Nepalese and Indian offerings.

“Clean, friendly, and moderately priced”

Goat chili upon the recommendation of the server was well spiced and flavorful. Nan was fresh and served hot. Pistachio ice cream a cool finish for the spices.

“Magnificent Indian food in delightful setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

We just had a wonderful meal here. If you're staying downtown the location is nice not being far off the beautiful historic buildings around temple square. Unlike many indian restaurants, the atmosphere is upbeat and interesting. The food was particularly fresh and tasty. I had the lamb biryani, my wife had vegetable curry and my daughters had the chicken tikka masala. All were excellent. Perhaps what stood out the most was the naan bread. It just was so good. Yep, this is a winner and if you like Indian food, you can't go wrong here.
