“An Architectural Beauty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

Regardless of your Faith you'll enjoy your visit to this Catholic Cathedral located just west of downtown Salt Lake City. Check out the service times on Sunday & allow yourself 15~20 minutes to walk from most downtown Hotels.

“Bring Your Camera”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

You would not expect a cathedral on this scale in Mormon headquarters. The catholic church created this truly beautiful cathedral. It is open every day. Weekdays see mostly tourists coming in to snap photos and walk around.
Bring some quarters, light a candle and sit for awhile. Take it all in, it's delightful.

“Beautiful, spiritual, ecclesiastical”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

Was here for the Christmas Eve service and it was one of those experiences that I will not easily forget. The exterior and interior of the church are truly stunning, and well deserving of its historic landmark designation. The long renovation which was completed not that many years ago did justice to the whole structure. The frescos are amazing, done by a Scandinavian artist in the 20s and 30s style. The acoustics are fantastic and I highly recommend coming here for the concerts. A stunning work of religious architecture, possibly one of the best churches in the US.

“Old and beautiful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

One of the oldest standing buildings in Utah. Very beautiful. Compares to some of the cathedrals in Europe, though not as big. Stained glass windows are beautiful. Try to visit when they are having a choral or organ recital. The acoustics are fantastic (as all cathedrals should be)!
