“Fantastic Tapas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2012

Went on a Saturday night and was fortunate to get a table. Small place great staff and excellent food. Tried a variety of small dishes and none disappointed. My friend had the mac and cheese and would not share, it was so good. It can be loud, but still keeps a cozy pleasant atmosphere.
If you have friends who enjoy sharing its a great place to try new things and experiment.

“Small funky place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

We stopped in after a production downtown Salt Lake. SInce it was late, we did not want a heavy meal. We were pleasantly surprised by Eva. It is a small funky place that offers a wide variety of small plates. My only disappointment was that it was really loud. We were a table of six and I had difficulty hearing the conversation at the other end. But the food was delicious and reasonably priced.

“SLC's Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

Can be quite a wait to be seated but it is worth it! Fantastic tapas and reasonably priced for a night out in the city. The tri-tip bruschetta is TO DIE FOR. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. Eva's is in my top 5 best restaurants in Utah.

Unusual and very tasty small plates served here. Vegetarians and carnivores can all find things to like here.

“Quirky and nice downtown location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

Enjoyed trying sangria ($7), wine (range), and tapas ($5+). I prefer the sangria and tapas at Cafe Madrid, but this place is much more reasonably priced. Pizzas are inventive and cauliflower and olive small plate is very good. Brussel sprouts are nutty and vegetarians can find plenty on the menu. Lamb is dry and quite red on the inside. Sitting on picnic tables for larger parties was uncomfortable for a night of conversation, but servers were attentive and willing to offer suggestions of tapas to order. Great place to pop in for drinks, small plates and conversation. I'd go to Zy (1 street over on State St.) if you are seeking an elegant atmosphere and incredible seafood, but be prepared to spend double on your bill at Zy than Eva which offers heaps of charm and artistic flair.
