“Great accomadation in salt lake city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2012

This Hyatt place was great. Room was very large with comfortable bed, nice bathroom, great shower and good breakfast included in the rate. Gym and small swimming pool on site.
The hotel is very close to Temple Square and lovely shopping areas. All within a 5 minute walk. We stayed on Saturday night and walked up to Temple Square on Sunday morning. When we arrived the Mormon Tabernacle Choir were doing their Sunday morning service. It was incredible to listen too and to see. A must if in Salt Lake City on a Sunday morning.
Great hotel in Salt Lake city. Far exceeded expectations.

Fabulous hotel, super clean, quiet and friendly staff. The breakfast was wonderful and pool was clean and warm. I would stay hear again and recommend it to my family and friends! It was also in the perfect location as it is right across the street from the Gateway Mall. There are over a hundred stores and some terrific places to eat without having to drive around. A super stay!

Room Tip: We had rooms on both sides of the hotel and it was quiet on either side.

The room is very spacious and modern and the location cannot be more convenient. The big Gateway mall is just across the street and my kids love the Exploratorium in the mall complex. It is a fantastic kids museum especially when it is 38 degree celsius outside. Even with my 4 and 6 year old kids, we are able to just walk to temple square from the hotel and it is quite fascinating to see this unique area of the city.
There is good variety for the free hot breakfast in the morning but the quality is only so-so.
Try the Dojo Japanese restaurant nearby. It is only 3-4 blocks from the hotel. The food is great and the have awesome deals if you eat before 7pm on a weekday.

One night in this hotel. The room was big and clean and check in was no problem. The breakfast was excellent. Lots of food, fruit and many hot options. The only complaint was that the air conditioning unit was very loud and was either all on or completely off. Made for a loud and hot/cold night. Parking was $10 for in and out access. Price was very reasonable and desk staff was helpful.

I am a Hyatt Gold Passport member and so used points for this stay. Only 8k points/night is a great deal. The hotel, like other Hyatt Place properties, offers a great room, free internet, and free (delicious) breakfast - all with great service.

The staff here were especially friendly and I had a great stay.

Also a great location next to the Gateway complex and Energy Solutions Arena.

We were visiting SLC back in March 2012, and stayed at this wonderful hotel. Although there were still some road and building construction going on around the hotel, our room was still peaceful and quiet. Very nice and spacious, with a pull out sofa for extra bedding. Well decorated, updated, contemporary decor. Nice screen TV with all the modern hook ups. Extra amenities included such as fridge, microwave, WIFI, etc. The Bathroom was very clean, very nice and spacious, and well stocked with soap, shampoo, lotion, high quality towels, etc. Staff was very informative and helpful. March was still pretty cold in Salt Lake, and the pool was closed, however, they were nice enough to open up the hot tub special for us. The beds were soo comfortable and luxurious feeling. Breakfast was amazing. I would DEFINITELY RETURN to this place. It is also located right across the Gateway mall and great restaurants which was a plus in location. Price was reasonable, and we can't wait to return there again soon. :0)

Room Tip: Request a room facing towards the mall side instead of the road side.
