“Fooled by the kids behind the sushi bar”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

When we walked in I saw very young people working behind the sushi bar. It gave me pause. I soon realized they all knew their stuff. Excellent food and very nice service.

“Wonderful sushi!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013 via mobile

I went on a weeknight with no reservation and was seated immediately. We were told of some limitations of menu items due to the restaurant's policy on getting their fish from only sustainable sources. So, the menu seemed a bit limited, but everything we ordered was fantastic. Fresh, interesting, so tasty. Highly recommended.

“don't rely on your reservation”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

We booked the tasting menu for five - and before we arrived they phoned us to say "sorry we will be too busy tomorrow to serve you the tasting menu". Not impressed!

“Wonderful experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013 via mobile

Our experience was exceptional. I came with my parents without reservations. We were told nothing was available. But Chef Sunny welcomed us And asked to put extra chairs near the sushi bar. The evening was great success. I consider myself knowledgeable about sushi. The devil is in the details. High quality rice, real wasabi, excellent soy sauce and of course exceptional fish. When Sunny started cutting Hamachi that was never frozen that made proper impression. My patents ordered Japanese beef that was outstanding.
I want to make special comments. About his style and genuine politeness. About friendliness. It made our day. His assistant Michael was excellent , we also appreciated special attention from Derby, our waiter.
Out evening was warmed up by these wonderful people.
It may not be cheap but it is exquisite. Their rating on trip advisor is definitely not what it should be.
Good luck to you. And thanks again.
