“clean and comfortable”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 days ago NEW

Great service, typical room, clean bed, clean sheets, clean bathroom. Good location and a couple places to eat nearby. This was the least expensive place I found and was worth every penny. Free airport shuttle proved to be worth a lot, when I had to make 2 trips back and forth. The hotel was very accomidating

Room Tip: rooms on the end are more quiet

The Hotel is very near to Airport, just 5 mins drive. We stayed there for a night on our way to Yellowstone. We had a late night flight and reached there at 2, the hotel staff was kind enough to send us a shuttle for Pick up. The room was clean with a comfortable bed.
The breakfast starts early in the morning, so you can leave early for your destination. Had a good choice from waffles, breads, scrambled eggs, breads, muffins and fruits. Everything you can ask for in a breakfast.

Spent one night here when arriving late at night from Chicago. It is the typical airport hotel, clean and cheap. With respect to the others I have been to (Microtel and Super 8) it has a nice restaurant nearby so you don't need to take a car and drive downtown to eat :) very useful if you are tired and you just arrived from a tiring flight.

The hotel is older but fairly well maintained. Rooms were fine and clean. Bed was comfortable. Free wifi worked well. Noise level was pretty good considering the close proximity to the airport. We would stay there again with out any hesitation

We got held overnight on a return trip from Mexico. Arrived late in the rain along with a lady and her 90yr old mother traveling to see family. After helping them to their room, we finally got ours. The guy at the counter was super polite and helpful. On entering the room, my wife said it smelled like smoke and that she wanted a different room. It did smell faintly of tobacco smoke and she is sensitive. I was tired and would have let it go. However, the room was dark, dingy, and looked quite run down (for example, trim had been re-attached to the wall with a dry wall screw). My wife returned with Missy, a bitter looking staff member who had just arrived as we were getting our room keys. Missy, while walking into the room, said, "It don't smell like smoke to me." Then she continued to explain that there was no smoking in that room, but that when it rained sometimes it would make a smoke smell that then blew into the rooms. We told her we would like a different room as we didn't like the smoky smell. As she walked by me and into the hall, she looked at the people in the hall (there were about 6-8 adults and children hanging out and playing in the hall, all appearing to be Indian or Pakistani, I'm not an expert), then she turned back to me and said, "If you don't want to stay near SOME people, though, you should just say so and we'll get you a different room." She turned for the office. My wife followed her. I made it to the lobby a minute later with our luggage, and there had been a predictable commotion. Missy called me to the counter and said something about her not being a racist. She said she was sorry if I heard something wrong, to which I repeated her words. She said she didn't mean anything by it, or some such thing. I repeated her words again, then she denied saying anything. My wife said Missy had been yelling and such, so I gave the key back and told her this would not work. When my wife said to calm down, maybe Missy was having a bad day, Missy interrupted that she was not have a bad day at all. As I told them both: this might be the best that she ever is. On stepping outside to change hotels, we saw that Missy and the other counter guy get called into the office by the apparent management or owner, who turned out to be one of the folks lounging in the hall! So this fellow was witness to this entire affair and stood by quietly. What's more, he seems to use the hotel as his family hang-out. A minute later and they were back out at work, demonstrating that this behavior is condoned by the management.

I was able to laugh about the insanity of it all as we left--who could imagine that asking to get out of a smoky room could lead to an accusation of racism! I didn't even bother to mention that we were returning from Mexico where we travel off the beaten path and where we have multiple local friends.

We went next door and paid $10 more for a very large, beautiful, quiet room, with the best bed of the entire vacation. The staff by contrast was courteous and professional. The rooms and the facility were no comparison, and everything else aside it would have been worth the $10 for the room change. So I probably owe Missy gratitude on some insane level!

Room Tip: To get a good room, go next door to the Hampton!

3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2015

Pros:
Night check in gal was helpful, friendly and super attentive to our needs despite it being very late at night.
Room was very tidy and clean, we slept pretty well overall
Breakfast was a hot continental breakfast with waffle maker, eggs & sausage as well as some fruit & yogurt as well
Location - out by the airport with an airport shuttle with Park & Fly options if needed.
-noon check out time is always nice when you are arriving late at night!

Cons:
Went outside to sit by the pool - would understand if it was covered for winter months - we stayed in early April (not yet swimming weather) and the pool & hot tub have nasty stagnant water filled with garbage including cups, cigarettes etc. just very dirty looking and not at all where you would want to sit for fresh air. The front of the hotel faces a gas station so you wouldn't really want to sit out that way either. They should really keep this area clean for anyone who wants to enjoy the outside on a nice day.

We had an accessible room that had horrible shower pressure so that was a little disappointing. Most of the water was flowing straight down out of the faucet instead of up to the hand-held shower wand :(

For the price we were overall satisfied with our stay.
