“Great place to 'camp' with kids”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

Stayed in tent three nights and the kids really liked it. Pool and movie night were pluses. Freight train and traffic on adjacent street at night woke me up--wish it were quieter at night. Would come again.

This campground is well located near downtown and Temple Square. We stayed in a one room rustic cabin w/o bathroom. The cabin was equipped with a TV and heater/AC. The bed mattress was not as comfortable as other cabins we had stayed in. It was softer and was lower then the log on the side, which made it harder to get in and out for us older campers. The bathrooms were fairly close and well cleaned. The pool was closed for the season, but the hot tub was still in use. Again wifi was sporadic. But when everybody has their own mobile device, it's not surprising. We would stay there again especially because of its location.

Room Tip: They offer shuttle to Temple Square

We stayed over a week here. We found the staff always friendly and helpful. The RV sites are pretty tight but it was chilliy most of the week so ...oh well. Loved the proximity to the train and the Jordan River Bike Trail out the back gate. It was quiet while we were there. Large laundry so it was not a problem for us. The Internet service was fabulous compared to other TV parks.Close to highway and had a car wash on-site (for a fee). I love they recycle. We came from the east and this is the 2nd park in 7 that actually has a recycle spot. Yeah!!!

We stayed here after a week long trip in Moab before our flights. It's very convenient to downtown sites, mass transit and the airport. The park has many mature trees and full amenities. It is clean and well kept. Internet is great by most RV park standards. The only down side is that it is close to trains and you could hear them ALL night long. While I love the sound of a train in the distance, I don't love to be up all night listening.

My husband and I stayed here a few nights this past summer. He was there on business and I took advantage of the close proximity of Temple Square. We thought the park was extremely large and quite full, but they were great to accept a last minute request to stay as the park in Salt Lake we originally booked was horrible.

On our way to Moab, UT, stopped here for one night. Excellent RV slabs and park, about half full, cable tv and all hook-ups on a pull-through spot. Excellent pool and hot tub, walking distance to train to Temple Square downtown. Very nice Landry, store on premises, close to airport so some noise depending on landing pattern.
