I hate to rain on the parade here, but I don't know why this hotel won an award in 2006 or why it has gotten rave reviews. The hotel is fine, and convenient to the airport and clean -- and the front desk staff was very nice and helpful but we did not experience anything out of the ordinary during our stay. We rented a "deluxe suite" and a regular room. Both were perfectly acceptable but absolutely normal chain hotel rooms. The hotel is located in a sort of awkward spot in what apparently is an office park. There is one restaurant within walking distance but no other amenities nearby. I can't think of a reason to rate this hotel "above average".

Stayed here twice. Really nice airport hotel. Clean rooms, great service, good free breakfast, nice indoor pool and jacuzzi.

It was a pleasure to stay at this motel. First impressions were at the front desk where a girl named Taluna was pleasant, informed, and went beyond the normal to get me a timely boarding pass on Southwest airlines. The suite was clean and spacious. The location to the airport is within a 10 minute drive. A good food restaurant is within walking distance. What more can a weary traveler ask for, except a good breakfast, which La Quinta also provided. Thanks for being there La Quinta.

My husband and I stayed here1 night after driving 6 hrs from Montana.
We were pleasantly surprised. The attendant at the desk (Sophia) was so welcoming and informative. She proposed for us to eat at several restaurants on 400 s and 300 s in the Salt Lake Cenetrville. There aren't any real restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, by the way....We stayed on the 4 th floor which provided some views of the mountains but mostly of the dumpster. The rooms were clean, the plumbing was excellent, the lighting in the room was bright, and the bed was confortable.

I saw a couple of pets being walked by their owners, but I never heard barks at any time. The complimentary breakfast consisted of hard boiled eggs, pastries,red delicious apples, waffles, cereals, biscuits and gravy, apple and orange juice, instant oatmeal, coffee, hot coco and yogurt. Plentyful!

The hotel is about 5 min from the airport and there are shuttles provided from 5am. If you are planning on staying longer than a couple of days, I would rec. renting a car. Oh! There is also free internet in the room as well as wireless int. in the main lobby. We would rec. this hotel and would stay here again.
