“Beautiful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2013

A beautiful piece of architecture located within the Temple Square. There are daily, free, recitals held there. The organ located inside The Tabernacle is something to see! Even better, go for a free recital.

The beautiful huge pipe organ is the focal point. A beautiful building where we watched the rehearsal for the Choir. Very clean and neat.

“Free organ recital”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

Had the impromptu opportunity to attend a free organ recital in the late morning. Glorious sound comes from the gigantic pipr organ. I had never heard anything like it live, and it is so much better than recordings!

“pioneer marvel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

Whether or not this was designed after Brigham Young put half a hard-boiled egg on toothpicks to demonstrate his idea, the concept is still amazing. Yes, the benches are hard and uncomfortable for long sermons, but the acoustics are incredible, the woodwork detailed, and the building surprisingly cozy.
