After hiking/backpacking the Hoh to the base of Glacier Meadow there and back in three days (recommend 4!), my husband and I were too pooped to take the late ferry back to the mainland and opted instead for a hot bath and comfy bed, and boy, did we get both! We got to the B&B late (10:30, I think) and the proprietor could not have been nicer and more welcoming. We were ushered into a lovely room with a BIG tub with which we immediately partook and both slept like bricks on a very good bed with soft cotton sheets, great pillows, and a summer weight comforter (LOVE THIS!) until we were awakened the next morning by the smells of good cooking below. The home is beautiful with a nice sea breeze and a sea views from the top floor (our room included). The dining room was gorgeous, and the breakfast was an amazing, multi-coursed affair, fruit and yummy sorbet, bacon, sausage, with the topper being a hot "Dutch-Baby" cream cheese filled pancake which made all of my body very, very happy! GREAT coffee, fresh juices all prepared and served by the lovely people who live in the home and run the place. The husband and wife team are truly interested in their guests and had all kinds of questions about our Hoh backpacking trip, our children, our lives. Sweet and fun to talk to. Quiet, comfortable, well-appointed, and delicious food. This one's a winner!
