“Simply the best!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013

Susan and I stayed in the "Spruce Suite". The window itself is worth the price of admission. We watched ships go by, and were lucky enough to see some nesting eagles fly by. The breakfast was a nice and relaxed with multi courses. Dae and Clif were wonderful and did anything in their power to make us comfortable. I especially liked the wine and hors d'oeuvres at five to meet some of your other guests. All in all, a wonderful experience the we will take advantage of often.
Skip and Susan.

This place had top reviews on trip advisor and Fodors and its obvious why. For a couple, it's perfect from beautiful rooms, gardens and view (you can see from Victoria to Mt. Baker) to great food and a pair of bald eagles nesting in the trees. Romantic, private, perfect

My wife and I stayed here and we were only disappointed by one thing: that we only booked one night. The innkeepers were incredibly helpful, the gardens were beautiful, even in winter, and the view from our room was spectacular. We had a great stay and will definitely be going back.

This is long overdue. My husband booked a stay for our 5 year anniversary last April 2012. I have to say that the grounds are beautifully kept, the food was superb, and the Inn Keepers were amazing. Clif and Dae really know the area and cater to the needs of the guests. They were so accommodating to us even though we arrived very late in the evening. They engage in conversation, give excellent recommendations on the must see sights, and are human. Not like most people/robots who work for large chains. They made us feel like we were the only guests, even though there were others. That's priceless! The views of the mountains, water, and the resident eagle surely don't hurt. If you want a relaxing getaway WITHOUT children, do yourself a favor and visit Colette's. :D We're going back this weekend.

Room Tip: The Azalea was very nice.

Amazing! We were there in march before all the flowers had bloomed, but it was still a sight. I wish we had stayed more than one night so we could have enjoyed the view from the room and gardens more. The breakfast was prepared by our wonderful hosts and was the best we ever had. It not only had the beautiful, artistic look, it tasted amazing as well!

We decided on this Bed and Breakfast for our anniversary get- away. We were greeted by Clif who showed us around the Inn and to our room. We stayed in the Iris room that was in the main house. We had a beautiful view of the gardens (unfortunately not blooming this time of year) and the water. We had a cheese plate and wine awaiting us as we were the only guests at this point. Fresh baked cookies also left for us rounded out our welcome. The room had all the conviences needed from in ceiling speakers, flat screen TV, a refrigerator and an inviting jacuzzi tub. We sat on the leather sofa enjoying the view. The bed was comfortable and had nice feather pillows. All the beverages you could want were provided in the main dining room to enjoy.
The breakfasts were delicious from a specially sculptured souffle, baked muffins and fresh orange juice. My husband requested an English Muffin on one day which they graciously prepared it for him. We enjoyed the company of the other guests at breakfast as we anticipated what delictable foods our hosts would bring out to us next. Clif and Dae were unobtrusive yet attentive when you had a need. They made you feel like you were a special guest in their wonderful home, even giving us a hug goodbye. We found the cost a bit steep but definitely worth the stay.

Room Tip: Although they do not have available silverware and a microwave, they will heat up your food and give...
