“What's Not To Love!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2014

This was the first time my husband and I have stayed here. As soon as we arrived, we were taken with the beautiful landscaping/waterfalls both front and back of the hotel. The lobby, with it's natural sunlight streaming
in, the wood fireplace burning and the serene decor is all so calming and inviting. The staff are friendly and
helpful. The king bed was plush & comfortable, the heating had a nice, consistent white noise and we could
not hear people in the hallway. All very important since I am a 'princess and the pea' kind of sleeper!
We enjoyed the outdoor pool, ( that was actually warm) besides the hot tub! If this hotel was in Seattle, they
could easily charge double their price.

One of the best hotels we've stayed at, including hotels in Chicago and Seattle. Our room was large and clean. The beds are super comfortable and the staff very helpful. We have stayed here in the past and will continue to do so when visiting the area.

Room Tip: Choose a third floor room on the golf course side and have a wonderful view of the Olympic Mountains...

I'm not sure what it was about this hotel, but we felt very comfortable and 'at home' here. Our room was large and overlooked the golf course and it was very clean. All the staff we met were very friendly. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for my son's basketball tournament. Saturday night was pretty crazy, lots of kids roaming the halls and lots of loud parents in the lobby. But all was quiet by 10:30. Clean, with super comfy beds and pillows. Used the workout room in the morning which was small but all I needed was a treadmill, towel, and water, which were all provided. Biggest TVs I've seen in a hotel room. Outdoor pool and hot tub open even in winter. Gorgeous, huge lobby with lots of comfy seating. Breakfast not included but Safeway is just up the road and rooms have refrigerators.

See my tip about choosing a 3rd floor 2-queen "golf course view" room (don't request a view if you want to be away from the elevator!)

Will stay here again for the next tournament.

Room Tip: There is only ONE "golf course view" 2-queen room on the 3rd (top) floor, and it is RIGHT...

We are happy to hear that your room allowed you to comfortably sink into bed, wind down in front of our large in room TV, and enjoy your stay at the Olympic Lodge. Although breakfast is not included I would encourage you to try our Breakfast Bistro; we feature the freshest, local organic food the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Prepared to order by our Chefs it’s a great way to start your day! Thank you for being our guest and taking the time to share your experience with our online viewers!
We look forward to seeing you on your next visit to the Olympic Peninsula!

We recently spent the night at the Olympic Lodge on our way to Victoria, B.C. What a great find! This motel, which has been remodeled in recent years, was really an excellent value. I would have expected to pay more for all that it offers. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the motel provides a computer in the lobby for guests to print out tickets or reservations. Although breakfast is not included in the rates, it's easy to get coffee and a fresh-from-the-oven muffin before you catch the early-morning ferry. The staff were friendly and very helpful. And, best of all, if you spend the night, you can leave your car in a special lot close to the ferry terminal and save money by walking on board! (With the discount car rental on the ferry, there is no need to take a car to Victoria, and you can sleep in an extra half hour.)

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the road, though because the motel is set back from the highway, noise may...

We stayed here in November, 2013 while we were visiting Olympic National Park.
A nice welcoming fire place in the lobby. There are sofas & chairs to sit down & relax.
The room was spacious & very clean. The bed was comfortable and
the linens were clean & fresh.
It is not walking distance to downtown Port Angels but just short drive to ferry area, harbor and restaurants. A staff recommended very good restaurants and we were happy with the restaurants. I cannot comment on the hotel food since we didn't have a breakfast there.

Thank you for sharing your review here on TripAdvisor. I think one of the most valuable amenities we offer is the experience our Front Desk agents bring to their concierge duties--sending our guests to the right places at the right time. Thank you again, and we hope you'll visit again soon!

4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2013

My husband and I stayed last weekend (Dec. 13-15) here and we enjoyed our stay. We got a large, comfortable room and the lobby area had a nice cheerful log fire burning. I took a dip in the heated pool and jacuzzi, which were clean and well-maintained. Although this hotel is about 2 miles from the cute downtown area of Port Angeles, it is easy to find and offers good value for the money. Good jumping off point for exploring Olympic National Park. We ate at the breakfast bistro one day, which was OK, but since the room had a microwave and a fridge, we ended up getting some groceries and eating breakfast in our room instead. The staff was always responsive and friendly- we had a problem with a lamp in our room that needed fixing and they were quick to help us out. Our room was at the end of the building so we had a view of the golf course but our room was colder than I would have expected, so we cranked the heat up often. I would stay here again!

Room Tip: Ask for a golf course view!
