We were in the Port Angeles area at the end of a week hiking around Olympic National Park.

We had a splendid two-night stay at Dave and Evelyn's delightful B&B. The house and grounds were beautifully and beautifully kept. Our room (Garden room) and bathroom were comfortable and generally well-appointed. The views are spectacular.

The high-lights were the breakfasts. I had, as requested, sent information regarding quite a few dietary restrictions. Evelyn worked around these restrictions beautifully, providing delicious, varied and very interesting three-course breakfasts. My husband and I do not eat a lot, but these breakfasts were special and not overly-filling.

Dave and Evelyn were wonderfully friendly, considerate, generous and helpful. We arrived quite late, but we had been in touch by phone, and poor Dave was graciously and cheerfully at the door to greet us and show us to our rooms. They helped with restaurant choices, too.

All in all, I recommend this B&B highly. If I am ever in the area again, I certainly would stay here.

My sister and I stayed recently and had a wonderful one night stay at this B and B. Home was very relaxing and the breakfast was extraordinary! I can't wait to return when the weather is warm and my husband and I can relax here together!

We loved this B&B. The house was designed for a B&B and it was very well done with very private rooms. The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful...even better than the pictures. We stayed in the Garden Room, which was my favorite. It is very spacious with beautiful views through large windows. The entire place is immaculate and I am very hard to please as far as cleanliness goes. There are three public areas which are very inviting and feeling like home...except better.

Dave & Evelyn are wonderful, very likable hosts. Evelyn makes fantastic multi-course breakfasts...we weren't hungry until 3:00.

We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. It was easy to get to Olympic National Park and much better that a hotel room.

The location of this B&B is a stunning spot on the bluff with spectacular views. The grounds are impeccably maintained with places to sit outside to enjoy the view or to have a quiet break. Our room was breathtaking with gorgeous furniture, views, fireplace, and an amazing soaker tub with more great views. Dave and Evelyn are incredibly warm and helpful hosts who do everything they can to make your stay as good as possible. Evelyn creates gourmet breakfasts which prepare you for your day ahead, whether it be hiking, shopping, sightseeing, etc. We can't wait to go back again.

You won't find a World-class B&B getaway in the Northwest like Eden by the Sea.
Two words, Dave and Evelyn two people, I invite to Family Thanksgiving Dinner made our stay memorable. We stayed one night in the Garden Suite – fabulous room size, that 2-person roman soak tub was relaxing, a shower if you prefer, lots of windows with beautiful view of Strait of Juan de Fuca, Victoria, BC and Mt Hood, kids will enjoy the huge play area. Bring your walking shoes, kids bring your kit and have some fun. The B&B design and attention to detail really impressed me, a BEAUTIFUL location, TRANQUILITY and SERENE environment. A lot of luxury with comfort amenities you expect, we should have planned to stay longer. You like music? There a piano, lots of books, music and quiet place for Mom and Dad while the kids play. For you couples looking for a romantic getaway, one night here is not long enough, Eden by the Sea is a fantastic getaway, family wanting a retreat will love the theme here, tranquility and warmth. Next time, we’ll stay longer. Evelyn is a genie, does amazing things and Dave is the steadfast rock guy, easily to talk with.
Memorable moments: September a perfect time, view overlooking Strait of Juan de Fuca towards Victoria, BC, Breakfast, conversation with Evelyn and Dave, more than Hosts and another family at the breakfast table. Deer’s scampering across the lawn. A real vacation getaway without TV that didn't work very well, but we enjoyed the music, peace and quiet. Quality time reconnecting with each other.
We selected Eden by the Sea for its beauty on the bluff, view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Olympic National Park and Angeles peninsula
There a sign when you first walk-in said, “We came as Strangers and Left as Friends”. I (we) enjoyed immensely.
A special thanks to Evelyn and Dave. We had a great time, breakfast, conversation, the local restaurants, walks and comfort. LOOK forward to staying at Eden by the Sea again.

Our rating a perfect score. 5 Stars………

Sincerely,
Ken and Angie
