The manager at the front desk was very helpful and gave us great recommendations.
The room itself was fairly large, with high ceilings, although it was sparsely furnished. It was clean (and included a sink!). It is obviously an old hotel, which makes it a fairly unique experience.
The bathrooms, which others have noted are in the hall, are clean. They are single-person bathrooms with a locking door, so they are private while you are in them.
The hotel has free wi-fi as well as a public computer you can use to print boarding passes or maps. It is located downtown, only a few blocks from the ferry and you can walk to many restaurants and stores. (They do have parking)
One potential drawback was a lack of elevator. There is a small flight of stairs up to the main desk and another flight up to most of the rooms.
