“Ok, but over-priced”

The room (224) was clean and we had an excellent view. The decor in the room is dated and the bed was comfortable. The elevator smelled bad and the stairways were dark. Continental breakfast included: good sized muffins, bananas, apples, bagles, pre-packaged pastries, and the usual hot and cold drinks. There was coffee and tea in-room and the complimentary shampoo/soap/lotion assortment.
We would stay there again if other accomodations didn't work out.

Our room was clean and comfortable with a twin bed and a double. There was a nice writing desk and a table. There are many restaurants nearby- try the Kokopelli Grill for dinner.
The lobby is host to a small breakfast choice of packaged muffins, danish & bagels, with juice and coffee. It is located just up the hill from the ferry terminal which is convenient if taking the ferry to Victoria, BC. Highly recommend the Victoria Express!
We would stay here again.

“old and dated”

Port Angeles Inn

We stayed at this hotel one night before catching the ferry. This is a MOTEL and very dated and old. The lobby is dark and shabby, the rooms also. Everything is old. Our room was very cramped barely can walk past the bed to the tiny bath. No sink area to put anthing down. Practically no closet. The tv would not work and we had to work with the cables. The bedspread, sheets, blanket all old and thin. We tried to get our money back but the lady would not let us. We had no view and was a corner room with only a small window to the parking area. My husband picked this because it had a continental breakfast, consisted only of coffee and a packaged muffin in the tiny lobby no where to sit. I am shocked by the others comments, can it be the same hotel? This is a 1 maybe a two rating but definitely not a three. I cannot recommend it to anyone.

“Great hotel”

Port Angeles Inn

We stayed overnight in Port Angeles, enroute to Victoria BC. Port Angeles is a pretty dumpy place, so we were apprehensive as we looked for a hotel (the original hotel we had booked was completely unacceptable).

We were suprised to have a very clean room with a lovely view of the ferry harbor. The owners were accomodating and polite, inviting us to a Continental breakfast in the lobby the next morning. This actually was some fruit and plastic-wrapped muffins with coffee, but that's OK.

My only complaint was the heater in the bathroom - I almost didn't figure out how to turn it on. Look for a little knob on the wall behind where the hand towels hang.

Overall, the Port Angeles Inn is a great place to stay - we'd return.

“Great inn!!”

This is a terrific inn! Very clean, nicely decorated, good sized room and bathroom. Very nice people run it, they also have homemade cookies in the lobby and a good continental breakfast that you can eat and still catch the early ferry to Victoria. Very friendly staff and we had a great room on the second floor with a queen overlooking the water.
