Bring your Passport. I walk onto the Coho at Port Angeles (no reservations needed), and use Victoria area transportation(Bus/Rental Car/Tour/Walk/Harbor Taxi). The Coho allows you the experience of Cruising right into the hart of downtown Victoria BC and beginning your Victoria experience right downtown at the seawall of the inter-harbor in front of the Capital Building and the Historic and Fantastic Fairmont Empress Hotel. Arriving or departing Victoria on the Coho is equally exciting to all but the most jaded traveler. During the summer months in particular action is everywhere around you, Seaplane arrivals and departures, Whale Watching boats, Canoes, Sailboats, Harbor taxi, and often special events like Concerts, Street Music/vendors, Steamboats, Classic Wooden Boats and Dragon Boats.
In route to and from Port Angeles you can enjoy the view of the beautiful Olympic Mountains rising just to the south behind Port Angeles and get a close up view of some of the largest commercial ships in the world as they travel between the Pacific Ocean and the Washington and BC Ports. Save some time, buy your return ticket when you purchase your initial passage.
Snack bar on board, or bring your own. Set inside or outside or just keep wondering and taking photos.

Thank you for taking the time to review our ferry service, we always appreciate such great feedback from our repeat travelers.
We also love the view our guests are treated to as we cruise into the Inner Harbour, and you certainly can’t beat the convenience of our downtown Victoria location! Watching the comings and goings of sea planes, whales watching vessels, kayaks, harbor taxis and many more are a great way to experience a real, working harbor that’s also a great visitor destination!
We agree with you that the scenery our guests get to see during our approach to the Olympic Peninsula is equally spectacular with the Olympic Mountains rising up into the sky next to the Strait of Juan de Fuca. You’re definitely right that bringing a camera to take some photos is an excellent idea!
We look forward to having you on board again in the near future, and thanks again for your kind words.
