We went to this strip mall cafe to have lunch with my Mom. She said this place was better then the rest and that the fried shrimp were heaven. The four of us ordered something different. My husband is not a big seafood fan and ordered the chixken tenders. He said that they were greasy, but tasty. Our daughter ordered the kids hamburger. The patty was freshly made and was big enough to feed an adult. My mom ordered the Savannah shrimp salad. She had them grilled and gave me a bite. The shrimp were yummy! The salad however was just a bed of lettuce with red onions and tomatos. I ordered the fried shrimp. They were lightly breaded and crispy. Very tasty and the lumch portion was very satisfying. We all loved the hush puppies, but thought the fries were a bit too greasy. My side of cole slaw was very mild and lacked flavor. As for service, we had a very nice waitress and everyone seemed very friendly. My only real complaint was the darkness of the cafe. The place needs better lighting or outdoor seating.
