“Good Food, OK service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Stayed in Fox Glacier and went there 2 nights for dinner. The first night was pretty crowded...but got a table in about 10 minutes (the second night was a lot less busy). The food was very good, cooked properly (steak) and good size portions. The service was just OK....not enough wait staff for the number of customers (although the second night had the same number of staff, less customers and service was still slow). The food came fast - but it was difficult to get the attention of the servers for additional drinks, check, etc.

“Generous portions”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

There are limited options for dining in Fox Glacier, but you won't go wrong eating here. We ate here 2 nights, on the first the place was busier and service a bit slow, but this was not the case the second night, and the food was good enough that we went back.

“The best place in town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

Where to start. This is where the locals seem to gather and I know why. The food was great and servings most ample. Service could not be faulted and the prices for both food and drink were very reasonable. We went there on both evenings of our stay and would go there in a heartbeat if it was local. There were people enjoying themselves and the overall atmosphere was bubbling.
