Parking at the carpark entrance to the walk can be a nightmare, especially in the summer months.
Dont even try to drive up Grange Road in the hope of finding a park! For the first 3 weeks of January there is parking on the right as you enter the village and from here a shuttle bus runs very regularly up to the walk entrance. If that parking is not in operation there is another very good option....drive down to the beach and park in the carpark. Walk down on to the beach and go left (west) until you almost get to the big trees hanging over on to the beach. To the left of the trees you will find a staircase and path which winds around the cliff, through the trees and up to the start of the walk. The walk is not tough but its adviseable to wear supportive shoes and...its not pushchair/stroller friendly so a piggy back ride or a cuddle walk is needed for little ones!
Its certainly worth the walk so dont let me put you off!
