“Expensive food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2014

Shouted my son and some friends to the Screamworld in April. They came back complaining the food was so expensive they couldn't even afford dinner. If you intend having a meal bring alot of coin to pay for it.....

“pros-cons even out”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2014

pros:
- ultra exciting rides! must try buzz saw and tower of terror 2!
- koalas meet and greet (for a price though)
- kangaroo feeding (which i guess is pretty normal around au)
- don't forget to cross over to the water park, they have amazing slides
- download the iPhone app, it's really helpful figuring out what rides you want to go to

cons:
- queues queues queues! everywhere you go there is a massive queue of people wanting to get in. queuing alone in the entrance took us about half an hour already..
- i think common among theme parks is the lousiness of the food.. all junk and not worth the money
- if there is no queue in the attraction, it means it's not worth it (ex. wipeout)

nothing spectacular or out of the ordinary, but if you have time to kill, then it's okay to go.

“Excessive Delays getting in”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2014

We prepaid and had tickets, then spent 30 minutes in hot sun with no shade queuing to get in. They simply didn't have the staff to cope. On both days when we left there were excessive delays with buses which weren't the fault. of dream world but there was a altercation amongst passengers who had waited nearly an hour. Dream world need to provide a queuing system and shaded are to wait in. Especially hard for those with little kids.

Belinda B, Guest Relations Manager at Dreamworld, responded to this review, April 27, 2014
Hi Robyn, Thanks for your comments. The first day after the public holiday for ANZAC Day certainly was busy and we are sorry to hear you were disappointed with our entry system. We hadn't heard that the buses had been effected by such delays but that certainly helped us to understand why most guests arrived all at the same time to come in and play. This is valuable information to us, and will help planning in the future. Regards, Dreamworld

“Amazing park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2014

This park is full of amazing rides. Some really big scary ones and others just for kids. They have loads of areas for kids to play. Connected to the park is a water park which is also great. They have the tigers here which are amazing to see. You can get photos with them but it is expensive. The big brother house is another thing to see. Amazing park full of fun and adventure. Great for the whole family
