“the best cheese in the world”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

We actually traveled to the cafe on the way through the great ocean road especially up to Timboon for this cheese. We had sampled some of La'Artisan cheese in Daylesford and heard that the cafe was in Timboon.

My lord, they have some skilled chefs in their midst for La'artisan produce the best cheese i have ever had. It is delicious!

I must admit it is pretty expensive, but the hard work and quality that goes into it kinda makes you think its worth it. I think my favourite was the mountain man.

I probably wouldn't eat in the cafe cause it was a bit too pricey to eat there but definitely pick up some of their beautiful cheeses.

“Great cheese”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

Did not eat here but purchased some great cheese. The gardens surrounding the cafe/cheese outlet are wonderful.

“Lovely spot for tasting and light lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012 via mobile

The main attraction is the cheese tasting. Light snacks featuring the cheeses are nice. Coffee and tea. Outdoor eating under trees with cattle lowing in the background. Lovely garden. Jess knows the cheeses and guides you through the exploration.

“The Mountain Man”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2012

Make an effort to visit this quaint little cafe outside Timboon. Lovely setting in amongst well established gardens. Warmly greeted by a friendly lady who guided us novices through the cheese tastings. Very interesting and oh so yummy! Loved the Rouge and The Mountain Man cheeses. Bit warm inside, but it was a very warm day- looking forward to going back and trying out the Devonshire tea and some more cheeses!
