The owner, Jose, ran the tour of the farm and was very informative about the process of making chocolate from cacao beans. A relatively small enterprise, but really efficient. We were taken around the farm and shown the different plants, such as ginger, that are combined with their chocolate. An extremely interesting tour and Jose took his time to explain and answer all questions. The cafe has lunch, brownies, which we sampled. Delicious! You can buy chocolate bars, coffee beans, etc. at very reasonable prices. Very hard to go back to Cadbury's chocolates after sampling the chocolate from El Quezal!! Highly recommended.
