I was not sure when I entered the joint whether it would be a bunch of kids pretending to serve Mexican food in New Bedford, but I WAS hungry and I DID see a small crew of 'hermanos' in the kitchen, so knew I hoped it to be as authentic as it smelled when I opened my car door across the street. It was a sleepy late Sunday afternoon and they had the football game on at the bar. What was I walking into....What I experienced was a hip little staff with a New Bedford slant, cordial, explained the menu items well. We ordered salads because it was a late lunch. The server echoed my interest in the Tortilla Salad and said it was a "go." Not only was the flavor there, but the crunch of the scattered tortilla chips made me want to order more after that bowl was empty!
A must if you're not fussy about atmosphere and want great food.
