“Absolutely Wonderful!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2008

We stayed at the Four Seasons for our honeymoon, and it couldn't have been any better! The service was out of this world, it was amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful, very pristine and the grounds are kept immaculate.

The service at the pool was great....complimentary water, sunscreen (best sunscreen ever!), evian spritzers, fruit, chilled towels, cabanas....I really liked that the pool attendants would help you find a spot, instead of letting guests put their towels & books down in the morning to "save seats", which I see at alot of other resorts. It was never an issue finding a spot at the pool or beach, anytime during the day.

Our room was quite large, very modern, clean, and we had champagne & a handwritten note waiting for us when we arrived.

The only restaurant we ate at was Ferraro's, which was excellent. Best calamari ever!! The view at sunset was amazing also.

Every time we called down for the car, it was ready for us and they will provide you with towels, and bottled water (complimentary!) for you.

The thing I liked best about this hotel (besides the excellent service) was that we didn't feel nickel and dimed. Almost everything was complimentary (except the valet parking, which every resort charges you for).

Thanks Four Seasons for making our honeymoon beyond wonderful!!!

Momof3Ss Long Island, N.Y.
My middle daughter thought that a week in Hawaii with her family would be nicer and more meaningful than a huge blow-out Sweet 16. So mom, dad, and three teenage daughters spent 8 days in Maui! We have been fortunate to travel to some beautiful resorts and amazing places but we all agreed that this was by far the nicest place we have ever stayed.
From the minute we were greeted by the staff when we pulled up,( they even greeted the girls by their first names when they gave them their leis.) we knew this was some place special. The view in the lobby was just breathtaking. The property is kept immaculate. The entire staff goes out of thier way to make you feel welcome and extremely pampered. The first day at the pool, one of the staff came over and asked if they could clean the girls sunglasses. Every few minutes a member of the pool staff is bringing you water or refilling your cup. They also come around with a bowl of fruit and spritz Evian on you to cool you off too. The same treatment is offered at the beach. Sometimes they come around with a cold, wet, lavender smelling towel to cool you off. Was I dreaming or was this real?
Even the valet staff couldn't do enough for you. They would ask you where you were going and depending on your answer they would give you towels or water for your trip that day. There was not one staff member the entire trip that I found any fault with.
The breakfast buffet at Duo is fabulous. Great food, tons of choices, beautiful views. Dinner there is delicious but we enjoyed Ferraro's the best. The views from this restaurant for a sunset dinner are spectacular. This will be one of my all time favorite family memories (watching the sunset over the Pacific with the gentle breezes and enjoying a delicious dinner with my family). The service is excellent here too. After the dinner the game room is a great place for families. We played pool, ping pong, wii, and shuffleboard. We all looked forward to it every night.
There were only two things I would not recommend on this trip. We were disappointed in Spago's. Also, the concierge recommended the Luau at the Marriott. We left before it was over and we never do that anywhere because I think it's extremely disrespectful. This was that bad though.
My daughters and I were all crying in the limo on the way back to the airport. It's not easy leaving Paradise. We hope to come back one day. It might take a few years because of the cost, but we can't imagine any vacation comparing to this one.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Four Seasons Maui. After coming from Kauai, we thought Maui was certainly more commercialized and missed the simple atmosphere of Kauai. On our honeymoon we had booked an oceanview room; however could only view the ocean from our deck. Aside from that, the stay was phenomenal. We had many meals at Ferraro's--GREAT SUNSET, wonderful service, and the food was excellent.

The rooms were beautiful with spacious bathrooms and the bed was extraordinarily comfortable.

We utilized the concierge service almost everyday and every recommendation they made was spot on.

At the pool--try to get a chaise on the hill overlooking the ocean--a little quieter and more secluded.

The game room was a nice break from the sun--pool, table tennis, and shuffleboard.

It would be nice if they had an adult pool as there were many splashes as I was trying to read a book in the pool.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this luxurious resort.

This resort is everything a FS is supposed to be. I was a little overwhelmed with the size of the property at first, having stayed at the Kahala, in an ocean front room away from it all. At first I found the property to be busy, impossing, but it began to grow on me, the service, the service and the service. A mishap at check in was handled with so much attention that I almost apologized to them, that is what the Four Seasons is all about.

We just returned from the Four Seasons Wailea and it was great. We were greeted with leis, lavender towels, and felt like we were truly welcomed. The staff was polite, the room was well appointed, orchids were everywhere. We did not have an ocean front or view room, but it mattered not, the ocean is only steps away.

Duo was great, we had each had a huge prime rib for $25 each and it was delicious. Drink are $12 a piece...

There was never any problems finding a cabana, there are plenty to go around and there is no charge. The hotel grounds have stunning views of the ocean and other islands.

If you want to avoid screaming kids and very crowded pools (the Grand Wailea), then stay at the Four Seasons; it's quieter, better staffed, and the service is simply unparalleled. Well worth every penny spent...
