“Consistently Spectacular”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2013

We went to the Four Seasons Wailea for my wife's 50th bday.....and also stayed for Thanksgiving. From the minute we arrived it was simply paradise.....the staff there......and I mean every single employee.....makes you feel like a long lost relative that has come for a visit......the rooms are generous.....especially the bathroom......the resort has so many activities that once you get there you will want to stay......there are three great restaurants......including Spago.....and Mr. Puck was there during our stay (nicest guy on the planet).....the benefit of staying at the hotel is that they have thought about everything.....and they actually anticipate your needs.....I don't know how they do it......but they do......

The hotel is kid friendly with a nice game room, a nice pool with a waterfall and the whole resort is smart casual.....there are so many extras at the hotel.....the game room.....the beach which is pristine....the daily local vendors that come in to sell really nice arts and crafts.....the great food.....the free lemonade.....the OUTSTANDING spa......the concierge........the kids activities.....the fitness classes....the tennis courts.....but.....it is the staff that makes it spectacular......and quite frankly.....they were so friendly.....I wish the guests were more like them!!!

When thinking about rooms.....don't go all the way to Maui and then try to do on a budget.....we had an Ocean Prime room.....it was great...and we could get up each morning and just have a coffee on the terrace and watch the spectacular sunrise.....and sunset.....it was well worth it.....

I think if you go to the resort...you should go to relax....and spend most of your time there....we did the usual island stuff.....and it left us wanting for.....the resort......I also gave my wife a spa day....and hooked her up (thanks Josh) with a "Cocoon" treatment.....she is still raving about it.

So don't waste your time researching the other resorts......we looked at the others in the area.....there is no comparison......go and enjoy The Four Seasons Wailea......it is really paradise....and be prepared to be treated like royalty.

Room Tip: Get the Ocean Prime Room on 6th Floor

From the second you arrive you will be pampered beyond expectations. First class service missed with the Aloha spirit makes this property world class and quite honestly the best resort I have ever visited.

The staff works hard to anticipate your needs and exceed your expectations. The grounds immaculate, the pools fantastic and relaxing.

I loved everything about Wailea including the three great restaurants. You can arrive at this property and stay a week without leaving and you will never be bored.

I was impressed too with the workout facility. Great equipment, much better than the private gym I go to at home!

Mahalo to all the staff for being so genuine!

Room Tip: Partial ocean view was great.

We loved every single minute staying in an Oceanfront Suite on the top floor a this hotel.

The beach is lovely and we even saw a giant turtle swimming right next to us, while we were still standing in the ocean.

We enjoyed all their restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner, what we usually do not do. I am glad we did, since everything was just perfect. The all you can eat seafood bar is awsome! We were lucky to have breakfast included in our rate and an additional 200 USD resort credit per day, which is a great deal. We´ve spent all of it down to the last 3 Dollars. Well, we even spent these for a coffee mug and so I get a reminder of this beautiful place every morning.

We liked the atmosphere there very, very much. I was told that many "younger" people (mid 20s to mid 40s) go there in September, and everyone seemed to be very happy and there are a lot of couples.

We will definately return next year, although it is a looooong journey from Germany, The FS Maui is certainly not cheap, but I find it is worth every single penny.

We just returned from our honeymoon, a portion of which was spent at the Four Seasons. The resort is simply the best. Best location. Soft sand beach. Impeccably clean. Kind, welcoming staff. The list goes on and on. We had an incredible time at the resort and would highly recommend it as well as each of its restaurants. We especially would like to thank Kelly, one of the managers at Duo. She was so sweet and such a pleasure to see each morning at breakfast! If you've chosen Maui as a honeymoon destination, don't hesitate to book your stay at the Four Seasons Wailea!

this the most amazing resort. We are still talking about our wedding reception and our stay weeks later! The service is about the rest. The restaurants were amazing and ordering room service to enjoy on the Lanai was beautiful. We will be back!

Room Tip: We had a suite for our honeymoon... and It made us want to come back every year! Music in the bathr...

We stayed at the Four Seasons Maui at Wailea from 11/25-12/1 on the first part of our honeymoon. The grounds are incredible, the breakfast was the best buffet we had ever eaten. The hotel staff is friendly and professional. The serenity pool had beautiful views and was very relaxing.I believe you stay at the Four Seasons for it's amenities- it makes them very different than its competitors- actually it is in a class by itself. Every time our drinks of water at the pool was nearing the bottom of the glass a waiter would be right there filling it up for you. It's small perks like that which is why you pay what you do...

The only "issue" I would say was being there during Thanksgiving week as honeymooners. It didn't damper our time however it was extremely crowded with lots of families. I wouldn't recommend going there as a couple during that time. We also paid a lot (over $700 a night) for a "Mountain view" room which meant a Parkling lot view room- because of that we didn't use our balcony. I thought perhaps we would be upgraded because it was our honeymoon and truthfully I didn't want to pay anymore to have a better view. The view and the fact that it was crowded are my only complaints however it was out of the resort's control.

Overall, the hotel is in a class by itself and a must see even if you aren't staying there. There really is nothing like it.

From the moment we checked in until the moment we said goodbye, the FS staff took great care of us on our honeymoon. We arrived early and they had our room ready within 20 minutes (they let us explore the resort and sent a text when it was ready), and congratulatory champagne delivered to our room with a card and a red rose within 15 minutes of being in the room. Housekeeping did an immaculate job twice a day, and every staff member we encountered was a delight. The valet guys were on top of their game as well! Service at the pool and beaches were phenomenal, and the servers and bartenders at all of the restaurants were a delight (and provided amazing service in dealing with my food allergy). Yes, some things were expensive, but never at any point did I think it wasn't worth it (my $15 mojito was delicious!). Nothing but great things to say! Can't wait to return.

Room Tip: Garden view rooms are only a little bit more expensive than mountainview, and you feel like you have...
