“Great vacation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013

We decided to treat ourselves to a wonderful vacation and the Four Seasons at Maui gave us just that. Everything was perfect from the room and service to the incredible settings. We felt like royalty upon on arrival right up until we left. If you are visiting Maui, you must stay at the FOur Seasons or at least stop by to see what a wonderful Resort is all about.

This is place is beautiful and amazing. The staff were very nice and the room beautiful. We don't have a single complaint and would definitely stay here again. On the second day we discovered the serinity pool which is where we spent the next 3 days!

This is an excellent hotel in virtually every respect. The facility is magnificent, the staff is very attentive and appear to care about getting it right. The fitness center is outstanding as was the game room and the pool. However, be prepared to pay for the excellence of this hotel. Coffee can be found for free outside the fitness center but if you purchase coffee in the restaurant you'll pay $4.50 for the privilege.

Room Tip: Since there were 4 of us, we had 2 rooms. The building is very spread out with only 2 elevator bank...

This is the best hotel in all of Hawaii in our opinion and we have been to all of the islands over the last 30 years. It is also the best Four Seasons we have stayed at around the world. Top notch in every way. The service is unmatched. Great food, great beach, great pool (especially the Serenity Pool which is tough to get into due attendance restrictions even though it is an all adult pool). The amenities are out of this world.

Oh this was a most wonderful hotel stay. From the moment we arrived we were pampered. Greeted as we exited our car with pineapple and lei's - and escorted to the front desk, we were whisked away to paradise in Maui. This is the hotel you never want to leave!
There is plenty to see on the island but, the four seasons is so incredible you are tempted to ignore it all.
Every single employee greets you with a smile. Most will remember your name if they encounter you a second time. The rooms are so impressive and comfortable. The grounds are amazing, and the restaurants are wonderful. All of this is secondary to the service!
Worth every hard earned penny to have the experience of staying in this wonderful hotel!

Room Tip: As my husband says " better to have the worst room in the best hotel". You can't go wr...

High quality hotel with excellent rooms and very good service. It can seem a bit crowded ( for a Four Seasons) at times as the beach is public and it is a sizeable hotel. The food was a bit underwhelming any surprisingly standard, an area where this hotel needs to improve to stand out in the crowd of very high end hotels. Mixed group of guests as it seems to be used for incentive rewards at times.

Room Tip: Ask for a true ocean front room, partials have very limited views.

So we won this trip to Maui and got to stay at the Four Seasons for 5 nights. Pretty fancy place. Definitely out of my normal price range for places to stay. Lots to see and do on the property. Did not eat at the restaurants on the property (much too expensive for my wallet). Not used to hanging out in such swank places lead to a faux pas or two ("I have to pay to sit here?"). But we really enjoyed the experience of being out of our "element" for a few days. Be sure to sign up for the free outrigger canoe rides/lessons that leave from the hotel's beach. Also, bring lots of cash for tips (the staff is very nice and did earn every dollar, or two, or three, or five that I gave them).
