This is my second review of this hotel. We traveled last year around the same period and had such a fantastic time that we decided to travel back to the four seasons to enjoy a nice relaxing vacation.
Where do I begin. This hotel really has a special place in my heart. As mentioned in my first review I have been to many nice hotels but this one offers something the others don't. I don't think it's specific thing but the culmination of many things. It starts from the moment you get off the taxi and step onto the Four Seasons Resort. They treat you like royalty. I could go into every single detail of all the little free stuff they offer but that is only a fraction of what they do. One of the most amazing things to me is that even though the resort has about 500 Guest rooms and Suites every morning at Breakfast they would remember my name, remember my table of preference, remember that I always read the Wall street Journal and that I like to have a Cappuccino before I start. Sounds simple and not all that "wow" to some of you but you have to take into account that they see thousands of faces every day and that they remember those small details that makes a guest happy. Like they always say, "it's the little things that matter".
As for the dining in the resort I think it's fantastic. Spago was our best experience. They try to change the menu daily that way you won't get bored of the food. As for Quality it was fantastic. Duo is a great steak house with a lot of variety. And love the Cotton Candy at the end. Ferraro's was equally as good but we ate mostly at lunch time. if you go to the serenity pool the food is really good.
As for the Pool's, we always went to the serenity pool. You will ready in most reviews that you have to get there early, blah blah blah. We would get there at 10-10:30 and we always got a spot. Obviously if you go around noon you will have to wait and if you want chairs in the front with the views you will have to go early. But let's be honest. We are all there for the same reason. Swim, tan, sleep, read a book. Doesn't matter where you sit. As long as you are there.
Now some of you might read a few bad reviews which I find odd but ask yourself one question. Is the Resort at fault or are these people just so picky that no matter what great experience they have they will find something wrong. I don't think with so many positive reviews it's the resorts fault. yes, FS Maui might stumble but I think 99.9% of your experience will be the best ever!!!!!!!
All I can say is that if you are willing to splurge and are looking for a nice, relaxing time and at the same time be treated like royalty, then this is the hotel for you.
If you want more info please read my other review on FS Maui.
As always, FS Maui I truly do love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
