We visited TB the night before our son's birthday because he had enjoyed it so much on his birthday on a previous trip to Maui. We were seated at a table that 2 other parties had just walked away from without having their meal, for some reason. We were just happy to have the last table outside on this bust evening. The coconut shrimp app was delicious. We did have to ask the person that brought it to the table to please bring us napkins and silverware. Interesting that our server hadn't brought them, even though she had been asked. My son got the Filet Mignon with mashed cauliflower. The filet was cooked exactly the med-rare that he likes. He thought the mashed potatoes tasted funny, but once he learned it was cauliflower he was a good sport about it. I had the Miso Marinated Kampachi, and I enjoyed it although I thought the sauce was a bit much. I liked the veggies that were served with it. Hubs got the Mac Nut Encrusted Snapper, which he really enjoyed. Since it was his birthday, they gave my son his choice of a complimentary dessert. He chose the butterscotch pudding, and it came to the table with 3 candles. Very nice touch from our server, especially since she had beem mostly MIA throughout our meal. Drink refills had really been a big challenge. The dessert was so huge that between the 3 of us, including a teenager, we couldn't come close to finishing it.
