“Good Walking Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

Keawakapu Beach is probably the longest stretch of beautiful sandy beach on Maul. There is excellent walking on the beach. Rock outcroppings are few as are rocks in the water. Only drawback for us is the lack of lifeguards (which are on all Kameole beaches) and extensive lawn areas on the Kameole 2 and 3 beaches.

“Family Oriented Beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

Beautiful beach, shallow waters, good for snorkeling and playing with the children. Lots of sand to run around on. Rocky nearer to the condos but that's where you can snorkel and see the fish.
One of the best places for a beautiful sunset.

“Gorgeous beach with good snorkeling”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

We moved to Maui a few months ago, but spent our 1st days on Keawakapu beach this past weekend. The snorkeling was a little murky, but we still saw a lot of different fish as well as multiple turtles. The reef was really pretty so we'll definitely go back when it's even more visible. The beach goes on forever and was not that crowded. The beautiful beachfront homes are fun to look at from afar too. It was so nice on Saturday, we went back Sunday afternoon for a long walk, dip in the ocean that had fun rolling waves, and ended up at 5 Palms at the north end of the beach for happy hour!

“Gorgeous unspoiled beach away from tourists”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

Locals and guests in the know will enjoy this huge beach that is among the least crowded in South Maui. Convenient parking, port-a-potties, and freshwater showers can be found at the two entry locations. Views from here are gorgeous, and it's got a great vibe!

This beach was excellent. Good for snorkelling and swimming. OK for boogie boarding. Nice to walk as well.
