“Nice Condos - Great Location!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

We stayed in Unit 2301 - rented through Wailea Vacation Rentals. They made check-in super easy - we just had to drive to the unit & check in with the security guards and our drivers license. The guard gave us a map, directions, and village rules.
The unit had 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. It was a little dated but comfortable & the kitchen had every utensil you could possibly want. Just a few extras would have been nice (plastic wrap/alum. foil/etc). The view from the lanai was amazing.

The rules are a little crazy - quiet time at the pool daily 4-6pm. No pool toys, no loud games, etc (no fun?) allowed at the pools. Quiet time at the condo 10pm - 8am. This one is understandable but I could hear someone talking on their cell phone outside most mornings. Our "neighbor" got quite angry if anyone spoke when outside in the mornings.

The condos have 3 grills down at the pavilion by the big pool. And a kitchen area. It's great to take your food down there & cook dinner to eat watching the sunset.

The best part of this condo is the location! It sits just off Ulua Beach & is in between some nice hotels. There is a private area just off the beach with loungers - you need a code to get into that area. There are signs up to not leave your stuff there for more than 20 minutes or they could be moved -- kind of short when you are snorkeling or swimming in the ocean nearby.

Each unit is individually owned so each unit could look different inside. But location in Wailea is great!

Room Tip: Check out the different units available as each one would look different inside.

“South Maui at its very best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012 via mobile

This was our 2nd visit to Elua Village....we love Elua! This time we tried unit 2306 which was situated on the south side of the development, away from the construction of the new Andaz resort. The rental was handled through Ali Resorts and they did a terrific job, meeting us upon check in and always available to answer our questions. We also appreciated the daily maid service, which provided fresh towels.
This 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo has a panoramic ocean view from the living room and large wrap around deck. The condo had recently been remodeled, with beautiful tile floors, granite countertops, new cabinetry, beautiful bathrooms, flat screen TVs...everything one could want. It was a short walk to the beach and the wonderful walking trail that meanders through Wailea, from which we spotted large turtles every morning, just off the rocks in front of the Marriott resort next door. While we did venture out around the island, it was hard to leave this place and felt so relaxed when we returned to enjoy Mai Tais on the deck every evening and watch the sunsets.
A highlight of our day was to lounge on the lawn around Elua's intimate pool area and snorkel on the beach right below the pool.
We went mid October and the weather was close to perfect...blue skies and puffy white clouds, amazing sunsets. Does it sound like a dream? Well, it was! The only slight hitch was that the wireless Internet was rather slow and kept going offline. Frustrating if you are iPad people like we are. It may have been the server...who knows...
Otherwise, no complaints...the quintessential Maui vacation!

“Best Spot in Wailea”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

We just returned from 6 nights at the Elua Village. This is our second visit to this spot and we love it. We rented unit 1703 which had been recently renovated. The kitchen and bathrooms are all redone. The location is fantastic, beachfront but set far enough back from the walking path you have privacy. There were five of us, three adults and two children and the unit size was perfect. We spent much of the holiday out on the large lanai which had several seating areas. We didn't feel as though we were on top of each other. Also have a ground unit we were able to easily walk down to the beach. There is construction going on at the resort next door but we didn't hear any noise at all. If you are looking for what we think is the best spot in Wailea this is it!

Room Tip: Units closer to the main road at the top of the resort are up quite a steep hill which doesn't m...

“Perfect location and quiet amenities”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012

This is a perfect place to take in all that is great about Wailea. Gorgeous condos are tastefully arranged on a gentle hillside right in front of one of the best beachs in Maui (voted THE best recently by Conde Nast). It's a private beach so it is never crowded and you can walk right out to two killer reefs for snorkeling. The place also has two pools, the main one has an open air gym, party area with full bar and multiple BBQs. Super friendly staff and good security. We rented an ocean view unit (1402) with great furniture, a modern chef's kitchen (a must for me) and in-unit washer/dryer. Most of the time the complex was quiet but especially at nigh. Nothing but the relaxing sounds of the ocean. The beachfront boardwalk runs right in front of this complex meaning you are steps away from two luaus, six beaches and four great snorkel points.
After you have done the high rise resort thang a few times in Maui, settle down to this more relaxed was to vacation.
Hit the farmer's market in Kihei, to get fresh fruit and veggies and make your own memorable meals.
We'll definitely be back next year.

“Wonderful stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2012

We were lucky enough to take the place of friends who usually stay at this condo. What a great place. People we met were friendly from the regulars to the grounds keepers. The three pools were clean and quiet. The beach the village enters to is one of the best and the snorkeling here is great and boggie boarding to decent size waves especially in the afternoon. Views of the whales and sunsets fantastic. The condo we stayed in was up near the road so the traffic noise could be heard. In the am the sounds of the birds and the irrigation woke us up, but we thought this was OK. We wanted a place where we could cook our own meals, the kitchen was fully stocked and a BBQ on the patio. Groceries easily procured from the grocery stores in Kehei. The We walked all around Wailea from here, exploring the nearby mall and the ocean walkways by all the big hotels. We were able to rent SUP from the nearby hotel at reasonable prices. I would love to stay here again.
