“Overpriced!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

I picked up take out menu at this restaurant – which looked good and a little pricey, but all restaurants in Wailea are great and expensive, that looks as a norm.
Later we went there at lunch time – restaurant is big and it was empty, no customers. Just later one more couple showed up. We got food menu, but no beverages menu. Waiter asked “anything to drink?” – I asked for banana smoothie. O, good they can make it. My husband ordered Crab Cake Sandwich. When waiter brought that sandwich – we just both smiled – that is why restaurant is empty! $18 dollars for lousy looking small sandwich, with slice of pickle on a side! I was glad I was not hungry.
We usually live tip 18%. But this time thought, for their efforts, 15% would be just more than enough.
But guess what? They helped themselves with 18% Gratuity on a check already. We were not “parties of 7 or more” .
For prices Longhi’s restaurant charges – you can find much better restaurants in Wailea

“clam appetizer was amazing!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

The clam appetizer was absolutely amazing! We went for Happy hour, but the bar area was understaffed. Took over 10 mins before we had a waiter stop by to ask for drinks. Then another 10 mins before we got our drinks. The calamari pasta plate we ordered was mediocre in taste, but they did give a lot of calamari .

“Great breakfast”

Lovely setting and great breakfast. Very good service and the quality of food was great. It was not crowded at 8 a.m. so we had a great breakfast!

“The worst restaurant in maui”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013 via mobile

Generally i don't give bad feedback but in this case I must do it. Don't go there! The pasta arrabiata is the owful thing I ever tasted. Someone has to tell them that garlic is just a flavor not the first ingredient of this plate, and when you boil pasta you have to put salt in the water. After all notice that I have spent 80 dollars just for 2 beers, one caprese made of half tomatoe and half mozzarella, and that owful pasta arrabiata. Except for the name they don't have anything to share with Italian cooking..

“Way overpriced”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2013

Went to Longhi's on the first night of my honeymoon, just flew in looking for somewhere easy to go in Wailea( i was staying at the Marriot) Loghis service was below average and the food was not that good. It was priced the same as the ferraros(sp?) at the for seasons, an ferraros was on te water and about 10 times better.

I got fettuccine and pruscetta and it was basically a bowl of Alfredo sauce. This place stinks and is over priced, avoid. Go to monkey pod up the road, much better.
