“Beautiful vegetation, great location!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2012 via mobile

An incredible vacation rental! The location is amazing--close to beach, airport, golf courses and endless Hawaiian vacation activities. Very family oriented with nice pool, lanais, grills...
I could live here!

Unit 153 - 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large living room/dining room, two HD flat screen TV's and a lanai that faces a spectaculor sunset every night - what better way to spend a family vacation! We could not have asked for more! I'd buy this condo if it was for sale in a heart-beat!

Room Tip: Make sure your lanai faces west so you can enjoy the sunsets.

Unit 178 is ok that is all just ok. The unit owner should really remodel and update the entire place. The kitchen looks like its from the 80's the bathrooms are nasty and had a funny odor. There was a fungus type odor coming from the bathrooms. All I can say is for the money that you spend for a unit it should be more pleasing than upsetting.

This was our first time staying at this resort, although we've been to the island many times.
Our condo was on the second floor. It is definitely an older building so for those who are used to staying in a hotel or a resort, it's a different feel. But, incredibly quiet. The rooms were spacious and comfortable although the carpet and furniture was a bit dated. The only drawback we had was that the doors have tropical-style slats on them -- so we couldn't insulate any of the rooms from sound coming from our other rooms (e.g. so our baby did in fact wake us all up in the middle of the night. multiple times.) The kitchen was beautiful. (this was unit #88)
Location in Wailea was wonderful!

Grand champions wailea

We booked the 2 bedroom condo - unit number 31, for four days and 3 nights. The decor is a bit eclectic with plastic flowers and fake fruits. But overall it has a nice homely atmosphere.

There's plenty of facilities in the unit - fully equipped kitchen, laundry, cable tv in every room and the lounge room and fast wifi Internet connection.

The villas are a bit further back from the beach. Having said that if you like to walk it's only a 25 min walk to the beach. It's quieter and more private than the beachfront resorts.

There are also plenty of shops nearby. We hired a car and everything was only a 5 min drive away. The accommodation also gives you a discount card to shop at foodland supermarket, which is great if you plan to cook in the condo.

Overall we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this unit. The only negative is the decor.

We booked thru Expedia (expedia don't tell u which condo# till u arrived). We stayed at condo #31,and was very pleased & would return to this condo. It is a spacious 2br(queen), 2 bathrm with basic shampoo/soap/towels,lighting is too dim for our liking.fully equip kitchen, they even got a rice cooker.Tv in each rm & lounge (not a flat screen tv though).Parking right at the door. Nice decor even with plastic pot plants.Bedrm drawers are old & musty, but there is a sliding door wardrobe. Albeit we left our clothes in our suitcase instead.Beach towels provided.Very fast Wi-fi connections. The complex got shops (ABC store is there) within 10min walk. The Wailea beach is 20min walk from condo. No daily maid service, but u can request.Maid only give fresh towel, take rubbish out, make beds, nothing else. The birds are chirpy early in the morning @5.30am so keep the AC on to drown the birds noise.

We stayed here for 4 nights in unit #158 and had a very enjoyable stay. The unit was remodeled within the last two year and was done in excellent taste. The unit overlooks the golf course and is on the upper floor. They have two swimming pools with BBQ facilities in the pool area. The grounds and buildings are well maintained. We found this unit via VRBO and found the pricing to be very fair considering the area.

Room Tip: Unit #158 worth looking into......
