“Best Rest in the area!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013 via mobile

I go very often to El Anzuelo since my boyfriend and I discovered the place last summer. The food is sooo good and everything is fresh. Frappes are amazing, sangria is really good and desserts too. But the pulpo salad ahh is to die for! Best I ever had! The service is excellent, the waitress, which is the owner with her husband (the chef), is very nice and friendly. The vibe of the place is always good! I highly recommend this place!

“Not very good food, great location!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013 via mobile

Nice location in the little square across from the beach but the food was really not very good and over priced.
The mofungo was very dry and hard to eat, the shrimp were very salty, salad not very fresh.
One star for the food, four stars for location and atmosphere.

“Excellent food, service and prices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

We decided to come and check out the restauran because if the other reviews. We have a vacation house nearby and had never tried any of the restaurants in this area. It's hard to find a good place with fresh food in PR so this was a great find. I had the scrimp with garic and lemon along with mofongo. The mofongo was the best I have tasted. Also had homemade sangria with lots of fruit - really delicious. Both my kids had cheeseburgers and my husband had the fried pork (he is a true Puerto Rican). We also decided to have dessert which was a brownie with ice cream almonds and whipped cream along with a coconut custard. Both were delicious and my two boys said they would like to come back. Overall really nice little place and friendly service. We will be back!

“Great area, good food, small portions”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

This is surrounded by 4 other restaurants. With music blazing and a great overall vibe, you cannot miss othis exeriene. The food was good but served in very small servings. The seafood was very good and everyone was pleased ith the burgers. The sangria also went over well.

You should kno that there are dogs all over this area. They ate playful and stay away from the dining tables but this could be a turnoff for some (and should be known prior to dining here).

Dinner for 7 adults was $122. Good one time but we would not go back.
