Was surprised by my boyfriend with a two day getaway... Whispering Waves was a great choice, the cottage was clean and very spacious.... We were treated to a close personal visit from the bunnies (ate from his hand)
The sunsets were breath taking, we went for a couple walks.
The birthday dinner of salmon was delicious, and Charlotte was so sweet to add a small cake for my very special celebration
woudl definatly go back and also refer it to friends

Cottages are modern and immaculate. You will have everything you need and more. Great view including the four deer I saw grazing early one morning.Your own barbeque and a deck so you can enjoy the outdoors without putting on your shoes!!I have already booked my second trip.

We stayed in the cottages in August - it was our second visit and it is absolutely awesome...the view is breathtaking,,the cottages were super clean and Charlotte and Paul were the most gracious of hosts...they truly want you to have a good time and spare no expense of showing you true Nova Scotian hospitality...the jacuzzi was very relaxing...we didn't get a chance to use the fireplace but would love to go back in the fall to experience it...The kitchen was adequate with optimal space and i didn't see any "dollar store" utensils...one has to remember that these are cottages designed for relaxation in mind. If you're looking for and expecting the Ritz Carlton with the hustle and bustle than stay at the Ritz Carlton,,if you're looking for and expecting a great place for a great value with hometown hospitality than this is your place...Incidentally, there were no "salt water incidents". In talking with the owners they did say they had an issue with their well and a new one was dug. I suspect the writers in the previous posts perhaps stayed during this time however we had absolutely no issues and would definately stay again!!!

Room Tip: All of the cottages are beautiful...Quick suggestion..hit the grocery store on your way in to pick u...

Perfect spot for a romantic getaway. The cottage was spotless, and provided everything we needed, with the added bonus of a couples jacuzzi. Our lobster dinner was served piping hot and delicious. The peaceful surroundings were exactly what we were looking for, and we'd definitely go back.

Looked for the closest place to where we were going, and we were glad to have found this hidden gem in Ingomar. Called the hosts and booked the spot without hesitation, and we were offered the best cabin of all. Everything you needed was ready and available, and we were delighted to find fresh roses in a vase on the dining table. Water is clean and tastes good, fridge was roomy enough for our ten-day stay. Rooms were larger than expected and very comfortable. Outside wildlife is unafraid, including rabbits and deer. Staff are cheerful and friendly and helpful, and respect guests' privacy. Easy road access to towns of Shelburne and Barrington Passage. Close to some marvelous secluded beaches. Will happily go back any time and recommend this to anyone who want to experience comfort and rustic peaceful getaway.

I have never been on a real vacation until i went to novascotia.......it was really important for me and my family to stay some where relaxing , the comforts of home and to have a most beautiful view of nature. Whispering waves was the place to go and this is place is where my family and myself will be spending our vacations frm now on. The cottages are beautiful, fully stocked kitchen for cooking, Beautifully decorated through out the cabbin and Very Very clean. This is definately a place togo and stay if you are travelling novascotia. I had a good sence of being home away frm home and i got to know the owners charlotte and paul Really Great People my only regret was when we had to pack up our belongings and come home because our vacation was over i was only wishing i could have a had a longer vacation because it was truely the place to go.

Room Tip: all the cotttages are beautiful

We traveled from New-Brunswick to Nova-Scotia for a long weekend on thanksgiving, we were surpised how friendly and clean the cottage was. We would sit on our deck watching the rabbits and deer and the evening while watching the sunset. Our meals that was deliverd to our cottage was delicious, the package that included the meals and breakfast basket was well worth the price, cant wait to come back.
