“Wonderful little gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013 via mobile

Stopped in for breakfast. Facebook said it was closed on sundays but it was open nice and early. Beautiful location with a patio for when it's sunny. Refreshingly healthy foods. Happy friendly owners who offered great service.

“Healthy choices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

Great healthy home cooked choices on the menu. You may have to wait because it is home cooked but the breakfasts were fantastic and worth the wait.

“Bohemian free-spirit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2013

We prefer eating as a local when we travel, but we were with a tour group and had no say in the choice for lunch. What a surprise this outstanding place was! Serving only breakfast and lunch in season, this delightful cafe would be completely at home and flourishing in Greenwich Village, NYC or Woodstock, NY. There is an outstanding selection of coffees and teas recalling that found at Starbucks. Vegetarians will have no trouble finding something appealing, but carnivores won't feel left out. Sandwiches are unique (I had the apple and sharp cheddar on molasses-raisin bread and it was delicious!) I don't get the comment made by one reviewer that the selection was limited. Does he really want a multitude of choices from the freezer? Everything here is fresh and homemade, and considering that this is a very small town, I was impressed with the variety actually available. If nothing appeals, I would not at all be surprised if Phillip would accomodate you with whatever sandwich you wanted, providing it was made from ingredients at hand and the place was not busy. Desserts are to die for, and are made usually by Linda but sometimes by Phillip both of whom are very much present, and delightful to talk to. Did anyone mention that Linda refinished the walls herself, and thatl the interior, including shiny wood furniture and fixtures was designed by them? And do ask Phillip what else he does besides bake. And the harbor view is quite picturesque if you choose to eat outside!
