“nice hotel in the heart of downtown Natchez”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2009

We stayed here only one night - loved the town, loved the hotel. Very clean, modern, convenient to lots of attractions in town. Pretty decent breakfast. Comfortable, standard hotel room. Front counter staff not particularly knowledgeable about things in town, but internet is provided, so we did our own searching that way.

We stayed here during the Spring Pilgrimage. The hotel is new and everything in it is nice and clean. The room was great - tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds. It was also very quiet - no noisy neighbors or sounds coming through the walls. The hotel is right on the Mississippi river, though we opted for a city view room to save a little money. The visitor's center is right down the street. Staff was very courteous. To top it all off, when we went to check out they charged us less than we had booked the room for on an online travel site. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel will tack on a $6.95 per night charge for the ammitinties that all the other hotels give for fee. They call it a "passport charge" and claim it is for parking, internet and breakfast whether you use them or not. This is the only place in town that will charge you to "park" which is a complete SCAM.

DON'T SUPPORT THIS HOTEL AND THEIR SNEAKY UNETHICAL PRACTICES!!

We stopped in to Natchez on our way to Orange Beach, AL for one night. The person at the front desk was very nice. The hotel looked brand new. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was very quiet as well given the ice machine being next to our room. Didn't hear a thing. The river view was nice too. We were able to walk everywhere. Would stay there again.

WOW this could have been a nice property and I could have recommended it. We stayed here the first night of our Honeymoon. The Front desk is very helpful and when they found out it was our Honeymoon and we needed a refrigerator they upgraded us to a nice room. So far so good.

In the morning we went down for breakfast and found the entire dining room a mess. Food and plates not cleared. Food on the floor. What food that was on the buffet line was cold and did not look up to health standards. Bottom line we got a cup of coffee and left.

We wrote an email to the hotel and the management answer did not even take the customer into account. They did not appear to care or care about customer service.

In Natchez you have many wonderful B&Bs, stay in one of them. In a few years this hotel property might get its act together then consider them.

Room - Average, Breakfast - way below anything, Management Service - a lot to be desired

Motorcycling the Natchez Trace w/ friends and we stayed here for a couple of nights. Great location right downtown allows you to explore the antebellum homes in Natchez. Walk to all the restaurants. View of Mississippi River was right outside the hotel or thru your window! Check-in & check-out was efficient. Personnel very nice. Parking lot is huge. Room was very, very nice w/ attractive furnishings. Bed was comfortable. Bath clean and neat. When we were there it was in between hurricanes so the place was nearly empty. The only negative thing I can say about the amenities was the pool -- it's very small and in the parking lot. They could do better there.
Also be aware that this Country Inn & Suites evidently considers itself to be a resort so they hit you w/ a resort charge. It is a very nice hotel, but it is NOT a resort.
However, I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone.
