My husband and I stayed in the Sunrise Cottage for two nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We love historic homes and really prefer to stay somewhere like that rather than a generic, impersonal hotel. That being said, we had every modern convenience you could ask for. The cottage is beautifully furnished, comfortable and not "stuffy". I enjoyed the claw foot soaking tub, my husband loved sitting on the front porch and we both liked the privacy and location of the cottage.
There is so much to see and do in Natchez and we love to stay there, but we enjoyed just resting and hanging out at the cottage. There is coffee, real cream, danishes, fruit and cereal for the mornings, lots of music and books and the most luxurious bed and linens!
The innkeeper, Mr. Scarborough, is the perfect host and takes wonderful care of his guests.
