“It could not have been better!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

I recently stayed at the Historic Oak Hill Inn and was thrilled with everything about it! The accomodations were beautiful, inviting and clean...and the history lesson that came with it was a special treat. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and served in a wonderfully appointed dining room. The hosts were full of great recommendations about what to see and do in Natchez....and their suggestions were right on. It was an absolutely wonderful visit and I am so looking forward to a return visit. The Historic Oak Hill Inn receives my very highest recommendation for anyone visting that area.

We have stayed at Oak Hill Inn several times over the past few years and each visit has been wonderful. Our most recent stay was in November 2012 and everything about our stay was Five Stars. The room, the gourmet breakfast, the cocktails, and the homemade cookies could not have been better. Doug and Don are superb hosts. We have recommended Oak Hill Inn to several friends and do so with absolute confidence that their stay will be as wonderful as ours have been. Oak Hill Inn is our very favorite Bed and Breakfast and we have stayed at many over the years.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Historic Oak Hill Inn. We have stayed many places in our travels and have many places to compare. Oak Hill is definitely marked as one of our very favorites. The grounds and accommodations are beautiful and relaxing, the hospitality, unequaled. Breakfast was unbelievably delicious and the table was set most elegantly. Not only did we feel totally pampered, but we acquired quite a bit of history about the house itself and Natchez. Doug and Don are great hosts, I recommend a stay there very highly!!

Room Tip: All of the rooms are beautiful as well as immaculately clean.

My husband and I stayed here last week!!!! We felt like we were on a museum tour and got locked in and were able to spend the night!!! It was so wonderful to sleep in a king and queen's bed!!! I just couldn't believe it. The furnishings were beautiful and such wonderful stories from our host. The breakfast the next morning was set for royality . . . had to limit my intake so I could try everything. Would truly recommend this B&B to anyone - beautiful!!!

Room Tip: The master suite is divine!!!!

Unbelievable Southern hospitality at its best! Doug and Don were very knowledgable of the area and the home's history; moreover, they were very warm, lovely people! The accommodations were beautiful, impeccable, cozy, inviting, and relaxing....can't say enough about this B&B!!
Not to mention, the mint juleps in evening and the phenomenal breakfast in the mornings....WOW! So good guys:). Promise you won't be disappointed staying here. Excellent, excellent, excellent.....

oohh, i was amazed by the moment i entered the place, and i was more amazed when i was led to what room i was suppose to stay. @.@ it was one of those rooms that i only see in movies, in history books and photographies.

it was my first time. it was spacious and clean at the same time, elegant, i feel like im a fine lady.
and oh! the breakfast was as fabuluous as how it looks. i was new to the place and i did not know what kind the food they served, not until i tasted it, oh, i did not care anymore what kind of food it was, it was just so delicious. plus, the whole meal is nutritious provided fruits, and just oh so good food. i wasnt even able to finish it all, it was a lot for a petite lady as i am. but what can you say? you just had a very comfortable sleep, and a big elegant breakfast, i wouldnt mind staying there for long. too bad we had to leave.

My family and I spent one fabulous night at Oak Hill Inn, upon the recommendations of a friend, and WOW, we were pleasantly surprised! We have stayed at many B&B's throughout the U.S. and Europe, and Oak Hill Inn was by far the best! Doug and Don made sure that our whole family was comfortable in every-way. Doug gave us a tour of the house and gave details of all the furnishings and his collection of old Paris porcelain (One of the most extensive I've ever viewed). My family and I felt at home as wireless internet was available, and the softest beds we've ever seen. Perhaps the highlight of our visit was the breakfast, which featured eggs benedict, fresh coffee and apple crumb muffins! We can't wait to go back to Natchez, and Oak Hill Inn is one of the added attractions that will bring us back!

Room Tip: I toured all of the rooms and they are all equally fascinating!
