The first thing you will notice about the Stone house is how warm and inviting it is. Joe does an excellent job of making you feel right at home. The Stone House is a beautiful and well appointed Bed and Breakfast. There are several things which set the Stone House apart from other B & Bs in Natchez. The billiard room is incredible and guests are allowed to play billiards on the table. The antebellum music room was my girlfriend's favorite especially after the private piano concert Joe Stone performed for us (which was excellent). What really made it stand out for us was Joe's familiarity with the home. The Stone House was his childhood home and he is familiar with every nook and cranny of the house as well as the history associated with it. The house is chock full of antique furniture and historical artifacts, some of which date to the 1300's. Many of the artifacts are from Joe's family and tell an intriguing tale of the Stone family throughout history. Breakfast was amazing and I highly recommend the poached eggs. The bed was extremely comfortable and the master bedroom was luxurious as well as spacious. If you are planning a trip to Natchez, then you have to go stay with Joe, you won't be disappointed.
