“Very disappointed”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2014

For what we paid for our hotel room, we could have stayed at a nice Bed and Breakfast and would have if I could have found an available room. We decided on our weekend getaway on short notice and ended up having to go to a hotel. The staff was polite and friendly, but other than that I don't have much nice to say. The pool was covered and we were told it wouldn't be open this year. Disappointing! The bed was lumpy and the head of the bed was lower than the foot. The toilet and tub were stained and nasty looking, however I guess they were clean. The towels definitely could have used some fabric softener! We found a towel stuffed in the bedside drawer and it was stiff. I don't want to guess what it was soiled with. The breakfast was prepackaged danishes and the like - yuck! The TV only had a few stations and the picture was not clear. The room did not smell clean. I recommend avoiding this hotel. It is not connected to the casino and you still have to drive and then catch a shuttle.

Woke up during the night to use the restroom what I see is baby roaches. Service was poor. Housekeeper came to the room early had no do not disturb sign. Never vacuum room never cleaned tub because had the same spots in tub when we got there. Only reason stayed was because my parents got the room free not worth it. Waited on the shuttle for almost 1 hour before he showed up to get us at the casino. I sure dont recommend this hotel at ALL

I've stayed at this hotel twice, both times my stay was a free casino reward. Both times the staff told me weather had knocked out the internet and it hadn't been fixed yet. My rooms were basic, threadbare, stained carpet, but clean. The walls are thin and we could smell coffee brewing in the next room. There is no safe in the room. I would stay here again if it was free.

This hotel is not great. For a casino hotel, you'd expect a bit more. The decor was tired and a bit worn. The staff was unfriendly and didn't seem to make an effort to make us feel welcome, tell us about the casino, or suggest other things to do in Natchez (maybe gambling is all there is to do in Natchez).

The towels in the bathroom were stained. There's a sign on the mirror telling you they count the stained towels every morning and will charge you if you steal some. Who steals stained towels?

Breakfast was horrible. Not because it was unacceptable but because it was so dismal. Toast and cheerios. No yogurts, no fruits, no waffles.

There is a shuttle which will bring you to and from the casino. It would have taken less time to walk there.

Don't be afraid to talk them down on the price. It is not worth more than $100/night. Take the money you save and play blackjack.

No warmth, no charm, no personality. Just like the casino: if you're not gambling, get out.

Room Tip: Third floor odd numbers seemed to get great WiFi connection.

Nasty room, carpet filthy, mattress worn out, wifi and Internet did not work but about 5 seconds, bathroom sink stopped up. No I'm not angry because I lost money at the casino, I won money at the casino but will not stay here again. We have stayed at lake Charles, la and because it was so great we wanted to stay here but that was a mistake!! I took photos if anyone is interested in correcting the problems. HIGHLY DISSAPOINTED!!!! Oh and you say the average price is $50,00, we paid over a hundred dollars. Trust me it wasn't worth 50.

Traveling, we decided to stay in Natchez. My wife saw an online deal whuch really wasn't a deal-it offered free breakfast, etc., all if which was free, anyway.

The place was very old, and though remodeled, it couldn't hide its age. The hotel is not part of the casino, but they do have a fairly efficient shuttle.

The breakfast was little more than old muffins and bread to toast...most any low- to mid-rate hotel offers more.

Stay somewhere else while you game.

They had a free lite breakfast. The room was spacious and clean. The water did come out of the tub pipes kinda discolored but after it ran a minute it was clear. The towels were a good quality, and the room smelled nice. The river view was amazing. We stayed here for a convention and everything was a bikes ride away. The king bed room had the large comfortable bed with plenty of pillows and the right amount of covers with extras in the closet, two end tables with lamps, a small breakfast table with two chairs and a coffee maker, and a lounge chair with a foot rest, a tv, and a fridge. The bathroom had plenty of towels and courtesy toiletries with a blowdryer. The closet was big with hangers, an ironing board, and an iron. I never had any noise problems and the cleaning staff had everything freshened up for us every day even though the hotel was completely booked up. For the price, I would stay here again and recommend it to a friend.

Room Tip: Ask for a river view
