“Amazing experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012 via mobile

From service to quality and portions everything was great! We had fried dill pickles, seafood potato, catfish lebeaux, & Mississippi mud cake & they were all great! The house salad was also super yummy! Our kids had hamburgers and fries that were cooked to perfection! No complaints from us! We'll definitely be back!

“Truly excellent roadhouse-style restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2012

This is as good as it gets for what it is. My husband had the grilled oysters and buffalo wings and claims they are the best he's ever eaten (which is saying something). I had the California chicken sandwich. The chicken breast was char grilled, with lovely grill marks, on fresh-baked foccacia-style bread, spicy sauce -- excellent all around. The Plantation cake is a moist, dense homemade yellow cake with coconut in it and a decadent cream cheese-pecan frosting. Even we chocoholics were glad we'd tried it over the Mississippi mud -- which we'll get the next time, and there will be a next time.

“Great food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2012 via mobile

Went to Roux 61 on a Saturday night and it was PACKED! Our wait though was only about 10 min. We had one of the best waitresses in my eating out history. Her name is Tina. She actually stooped down to get at eye level to take our order. She came back to the table countless numbers of time and would not rest until we were satisfied. Now the food: Large portions! I had the Roux 61 platter and had enough to share with the other 2 people I was eating with. My friend ordered the whole fish and got 5 fish with order! That's a lotta fish! And it was only $15. Everything was tasty and if I ever go back to Natchez this place will be a no brainer for dinner.

“Great Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

Great seafood restaurant. I got the big seafood platter so I could sample a little of everything on the menu. The food taste alot like Deanies Seafood in New Orleans/Metarie. The location of the restaurant is outside the city limits going south on 61, but, its worth the drive.

“Too Good to be True”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

Surprise, Surprise, Surprise...this is a delightful, warm and charming place with just the right ambience for any type of celebration or meal you are looking for. The food was heavenly and the service was perfect. Our server Roberto, was superior...Just the right touch of suggestions without being pushy. We made sure to tell the manager just how great he was. Cocktails are also perfecto! Some very nice special ones :) This is a must on your trips to Natchez or anywhere even close by.
